^unless you are planning to sell the gadgets kapag may lumabas ng bago. mas makakahingi ka kasi ng mas mataas na selling price kung kumpleto pa ang manuals and box.

I have Hannah Horvath (HBO Girls) OCD ;D but I can't say I'm super OC sa bahay. I do enjoy organizing and I'm obsessed with storage. But that's it. I check A Bowl Full of Lemons for tips. She keeps it really simple and easy to follow especially for those who don't have househelp.  :D

Some kasi di ba they will not recognize your warranty if you can not present the box.

Is that a blogsite sis?

I was obsessed with storage boxes until i realized that the storage boxes does not solve my problem. Purging is really the solution. Until now I still feel like i cant adapt a minimalist life

I've started reading the first few pages na and I must say I can relate!

Minsan iniisip ko baka mayordoma/maid ako nung past life  ;D :o as in lahat ginagawa ko kasi ayoko talaga ng alikabok kahit konti..

Parang nainstill din sakin yung "clean as you go" literal basta mapadaan ako, kahit may makita lang ako like small tissue kahit parang fragments, pupulutin ko hehe

Haha

Gusto ko din ng malinis na floors kahit i don't walk barefoot.. i do it everyday pag nasa bahay, ayoko iutos kasi wala akong tiwala na magawa ng tama.. Same thing actually sa lahat ng chores.. Sa future, papalinis ko twice din.. Dun sa house kasi ng ex ko, yung mom nila, wow din sa oc, everyday scrub ng mga helpers ang floor, their house is so well arranged and ganda talaga.. I want my future house to be clutter free, dami cabinets and storage boxes para dun nakatago..  ;D

When i wake up, i fix my bed.. I am always on the look out for the best home fragrance/scent  :D

Organizers will help, but dont overdo it..kasi pansin ko kapag bumili ka ng mga bins, tendency is pupunuin mo siya or you will think of something na ilagay don. Kaya buy only what you need. PURGING is the key.

What song/ music do you listen to when you clean up. Lately i find cleaning at night therapeutic

I can relate to this.  It's so nice to clean before you sleep and feels good when you wake up in the morning seeing tidy things around you, a very light feeling.

Hehe. Gusto ko lang matuto ayusin sya, yung as in "livable" sya while dun pa kami nakatira. Help!

Hello sis, maybe i can share a lil help for you.  You can get rid of kalat by simply putting things to their proper places.  Like for an example a wrist watch.  We sometimes put it somewhere we can easily place it like counters, on top of the table or even left in the cr.  I think we can eliminate to place the watch by putting it in your jewelry box right after you wear it.

Same with shoes, we should place it in the rack immediately right after you wear it and so on and so forth.  I think from their you will learn to be organized or design your space because you were able to place them to their respective areas.  It is like you are hitting 2 birds at the same time, you were able to keep and take care of the things around you.

Glad to have stumbled on this thread!

My husband and I just got married and we just moved in to our tiny condo in the city. It's a small, one bedroom, but at least it's clean. And it smells nice  :P

I don't think I'm particularly OC, I just really like to keep things clean and clean smelling. I'm especially particular about smells. Sometimes I can smell things people have had for dinner even days ago. It's a weird, freaky talent. Haha. And it's a burden sometimes, especially when I smell something that doesn't agree with me, which to my husband is insignificant. I have to turn the house upside down to get rid of it.

I follow this one, simple philosophy for our home. "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." - William Morris, designer. It keeps things simple.

It helps that our house is small, so it's easy to clean. We stuck with minimalist decor. White, wood, gray/black, plants. Minimal accents. People say white is dumihin, but I don't care. I like white :) Good thing pareho kami ng design aesthetic ng asawa ko. It helps also that we don't have household help to manage yet, and that my husband is particular about orderliness too.

My thing now is taking stains off. We have a granite countertop and it has stains. Will backread muna at baka may tips on how to fix/prevent stains. Or maybe I should just leave it, because the stains give the granite "character." Haha.

Im curious as to how do you dispose used oil from cooking? I reuse oil once lang. HELP????

i like everything clean din di ako mapakali pag may nakikita akong di malinis, pati mga panglinis ko dapat malinis lahat like basahan after gamitin nilalabhan ko pagkatapos ibabad, walis at dustpan nililinis ko rin at spray ng javex, even yung loob ng vacuum cleaner after gamitin dapat linisin din.

I used to be OC pero nag balance out kami ng friends ko.
Ang natira sa akin ay organizing things. "A place for everything and everything in its place."
