There is nothing wrong in falling in love with a much older guy.  Ang love wala sa edad. :)

Mine did not work out. I really loved him and he is 12 yrs my senior. He is separated from his wife and has a kid. I have a conservative and strict family kaya I decided to choose them over him. I have no other choice then but there was never a day na di ko sya inisip. He is the best thing that ever happened to me. It has been 5 months now pero I still love him like everything just happened yesterday. From the last time that we talked, madami daw nagrereto sa kanya after our breakup pero baka sa 1 taon daw pwede na sya makipagdate. That really hurts me kasi ako di ko maisip pano ko babalik sa dati, when I still love him, when I still think of him. I am trying to pull myself together each day, picking up all the pieces. I have no other choice but to move on kasi di ko kayang maging friends kami, coz I still love him. And I cannot forget him.

I can relate, cause my husband is 10yrs+ older than myself. When we got married,sa umpisa mahirap talaga, pero as we go along mas konti na yung mga bagay na nagiging cause ng arguments namin,

I can also say that i have changed for the better, being around him.

Im 29 he is 44. 8 years together and we are happy. May anak na rin kami. No regret kasi masarap mag mahal ang matured, masarap mag alaga. Very responsible.

It depends kase sa case ko, my hubby is 11 years older than me but then again his not responsible sa kung anong pinasok niya (being a father) so wala sa edad ang pagiging matured nasa tao lang talaga  ;D

there's always something sexy about older men,  they don't have to prove themselves anymore so the confidence is there,  they're pass the raging hormones stage so they're more calm, gentle and patient.  and most are of age that have reached some financial stability.  and you gotta love the the salt and pepper hair, very seductive!

I have to agree with everything you said! Most older men are already established and yung aura nila talaga ang attractive. They get more gwapo because of what they already are. Generally talaga, men age more gracefully than women.

I had a crush on the husband of my mom's kumare when I was in college. He has the take-charge attitude and oozes with confidence effortlessly. And yes, the salt abd pepper hair. I saw him and one of their sons. Gwapo pero yung tatay talaga crush ko nun ;D

^ Revelation mode. Nice!

As far back as I can remember... I never really got to date someone more than 10 years my senior. But look, George Clooney finally got hitched after forever. Basta ba ala George... age doesn't matter at all.

sexy pag may konting grays na and he doesn't care :P

but my rule is no one older than my mom.

by the way, is it just me or pag older mas maraming hang ups and issues? Either super guarded or ang daming fears na I usually don't see in guys my age :/

^ and we have the complement rule for us ni hubby, na if ever papatol naman kami sa mas bata,  that person cannot be younger than our youngest child.  this is just bedroom talk btw,  you know, that 'what if' game that couples like to play until mapikon yung isa.

going back to topic,  well established older guys have mastered the art of seduction too and young girls really fall for that.

I learned from my HS teacher that 3-4yrs older daw ang age ng "ideal" guy for girls when it comes to maturity level. So sabi ko sa sarili ko, older guy ang para sakin. But my 2 past "relationships" were both of my age range and my current bf is 10 months younger than me.

The reason I joined this thread is because I think I'm having a BIG CRUSH (hoping that im not falling yet) with a guy 8 years older than me. >_____________< and yes, i currently have bf now. LDR kami ni bf and si older guy ang malapit sa akin ngayon. Ayaw ko bigyan ng malisya mga treatment nya sakin pero mukhang meron eh. :( *assumera*

PS: i thought at first that 8-yr-gap is big but, hey, may mas malalaking age gap pa pala dito sa thread. hihi.
