^sis, i hope you won't mind my asking kung ok naman yung ITF ni baby mo sa BDO last year? kasi sabi ng iba may losses konti? my son has a regular time deposit with BDO din pero naiisip namin ni husband kung mas ok i-ITF para mas lumaki interest syempre.

pag magdedeposit ba kahit saang branch pwde? and pwde ba ideposit ang PDC sa TD? thanks

ang alam ko sis dapat kung saang branch ka nag-open dun ka pupunta kung gusto mo dagdagan yung amount na nasa time deposit. pero kung iro-roll lang pwede din tawag lang kung hindi ka agad-agad makapunta on or before the maturity date. kukuhanin mo din kasi yung certificate.

Sis, when I said ITF "in trust for account" ha, not UITF.  So, it's an ordinary savings account na ako yung bank account holder in trust for my daughter.  I transferred most of it na to Diamond Savings (also ITF) ng China Bank so it can earn more interest (5.75% pa last placement but bumaba na sila ngayon).  May natira na konti sa ITF na SA.  I'm waiting for it to grow a bit bigger again then transfer ko sa Diamond Savings nya ulit.

Yes, BPI in-trust-for account.  What's cool with BPI is that you can enroll the account in online banking so that you can transfer money from your own personal account to baby's account by going online.

My twins are with Export Bank (ITF din), our neighbor is a service head of that bank kasi. Kaya everytime we make a deposit, mangangapit bahay lang ako okay na

BPI (ITF) hassle free kasi fund transfer lang kami ni hubby thru express online...

pede pa ba ITF sa BPI, last year naginquire ako wala na daw o baka tamad lang yung natanungan ko

as far as i know, pwede mag-ITF sa BPI, pero regular savings account na lang sya.  wala na sila nung pang-kids talaga and earning higher interest.

kaya i opened an account in BDO na lang.  kaso nabasa ko rito na meron pala itong kasamang discount card.  ni hindi man lang binabanggit sa akin nung nag-open ako ng account.  when i went there last week to inquire (habang nagdedeposit), ni hindi alam ng teller!  tanungin ko raw dun sa new accounts.  anubayun?!?

Ako naman my baby has his own account in one of the Coop here in Taguig ang kagandahan nman eh tumutubo siya. 500 din ang mantaining balance.

Yes sis, it's sort of a TD.  That's what we do din, accumulate the savings then transfer to higher yield instruments.

quustion po sa BDO jr Savings.. Since passbook sya, required ba na sa branch na pinagapplyan lang pwede magdeposit and withdraw?  or may charge ba pag sa ibang branch ang transactions?

^oo yata sis ayun ang pagkaka-alam ko. but if your child is 7 yrs old up, pwede magpa-atm. ayun kahit san branch pwede at walang charge.

We have our babies accounts in Metrobank - Metro Savers (ITF).  Maintaining balance is P500 but if you have maintaining balance not below 4,000 insured kau ni baby.

My baby has one in BDO. His monthly allowance goes there agad para everytime I shop for him debit card na lang iaabot ko.
