Bank Account ni Baby.

Have you opened a bank account for your baby?  Which type?

We've long planned of opening one for our little Asher kaso di namin alam kung san magandang bank or which type of account ang ioopen for him.

Which bank ba yung merong tipong kiddie savings account? Or for babies, trust fund lang ba talaga? or nakapangalan pa rin sa inyo solely?

yes I do open an accont for my daughter. I use BDO junior savers club. 500 pesos lang initial deposit

sa mga anak ko, ITF or in trust for ang naka indicate dun sa passbook nila.

ako naman yung savings account ng baby ko sa Metrobank.  it's called Fun Savers and meron siyang kasamang insurance. insured ang isa sa parents tapos yung baby ang beneficiary.  it's also an ITF account.  yung amount ng insurance depends on the amount of savings in the account.

aside from that, my mom got him a trust fund also with Metrobank

^one can open only an ITF type of account for a child below 8 yrs old.   both the parent/guardian name will appear in the passbook but the parent will solely be the signatory.

I also opened a bank account for both of my children. Pagkapanganak, nag-open na agad kami. It's under their name. Doon namin nilalagay ang mga gifts sa kanila.

Meron din kaming trust fund for them. Kami mismo ni hubby ang naglalagay ng pera dito.

-got my baby a regular SA after his baptismal, dun yung mga monetary gifts nya nakalagay. I make it a point that i deposit P1K minimum per pay day ko...My mom naman gives him money monthly also, minimum of P2k and dinemand ko from her hehe....

si asia ko may bdo junior savings accnt. i make sure na may deposit syang 2k every month.
