Do you lend your books?

i do but to selected people only. like you sisses, naexperience ko na din magpahiram ng book na di na naisoli. buti nalang mura lang siya at madaming stocks sa bookstore. yung mga treasure finds ko, sa trusted friend ko lang ipinahihiram, yung sure ako na iingatan niya at isosoli.

No. Not unless it's my cousin. I trust her naman kaya lang ang tagaaaaal bago nya ibalik and pag bumalik na sakin yung book mukhang luma na.

Sa ibang kakilala even friends NEVER. Ganun ako kaingat sa books.

i don't lend personal collection books. But school books, i will. I value books more than my personal items like clothes and shoes. But for me, school books are worth sharing specially those who can't afford. Besides, academic books are usually updated every 2 or 3 years, so maging obsolete na rin

A Big NO NO sa pocket book collections ko    kuripot na kung kuripot  kasi pinag-ipunan ko yun hehe!! I've been collecting since high school, nakabalot pa talaga lahat.. OC ako pagdating sa kanila, treasured na treasured ko sila hehe

@divine dreamer: pike books are being published with new covers (and series are done in compilations)!!! just sharing the good news in case you haven't noticed sa bookstores. my own impressive pike collection from back in high school was destroyed by termites, so i'm glad i can rebuild the collection, even if iba na itsura. i miss th echeesy covers, though.

re: lending books, i don, but not to everybody. dun lang din sa tingin ko nagvavalue ng books and ibabalik rin sa akin. i've been burned a few times na rin, and not just sa books. kakasama ng loob.

Augh. Every year, I try to trust people (about this). Every year I get disappointed. It's been six months since I last hoped, and lemme tell ya! I wasn't disappointed about being disappointed! 

Maybe it's my fault. I'm "telling the universe what to give". *lol*

dati sige go! para naman others will enjoy reading the books i like...pero now not anymore..madamot na ako ngayon..pano madalang pa sa patak ng ulan sa sahara desert kung may magsoli ng libro sa akin..nakakasad kasi ginastusan to buy tapos di isosoli..kahit friend ko pa sya ayoko na magpahiram ngayon..

^Ay sinabi mo. Meron nga magsosoli, mukha namang nagdaan na sa ilang gyera yung libro. Samantalang ni walang crack sa spine yun nung pinahiram ko. Ang hirap talaga pag di mo tantiyado ang ingat-level ng tao.

I used to lend my books before. Kaya lang hindi sila marunong magsauli. So now, hindi na ko nagpapahiram.

same here. lending books is something that i used to do pero grabe lang, halos lahat di nagsasauli. ako pa naman yung type na ayokong nangungulit pag kukunin na. even my twilight collection didn't get back. yung iba naman, umaabot ng months to a year bago ibalik. kung may borrower's card nga lang yung books ko tulad ng sa library, malaki na kinita ko sa penalty nila. haha.  kaya ngayon, careful na talaga.
