i lend my books to my siblings.

Yes when I was younger. But I noticed na medyo deteriorated yung condition pag balik sakin like ang daming folds, may mga stains etc. O kaya naman ang tagal bago ibalik or sometimes di na naibabalik. Eversince then, ayoko na magpahiram as much as possible.

I always hesitate when some of my friends borrow my books. Ayokong magdamot pero minsan ayoko talagang magpahiram. Because most of them will just use it for casual reading and they won't take care of the book. Worst, yung iba di na nasosoli. Sometimes, I just buy another copy to replace them.

For book lovers, each book is important. Kaya talaga minsan pag nanghihiram sila, I always pretend na nakakalimutan ko palagi yung book.

I understand where you're coming from... for me naman kasi, ok lang magpahiram ng books, as long as iingatan.  I make it a point na pagnanghihiram sila i remind them na "Paki-ingatan."

wala pa naman ibang nanghihiram ng books ko kundi yung kapatid ko. ang kaso pag nilabas ko na yung books its not as good as it was na. minsan may yupi na yung cover.

lalo na sa mag collection ko. hindi pa naman yun hardbound.  pag ako nagkeep ng book, laging parang bago...

most of my books i lend.  those that i don't lend are those books that i want to keep reading. when i lend them i consider them gone...i usually buy from book sale so it doesn't hurt that much hehe

I used to. Kaso I learned my lesson na. When I was still in HS, may humiram sakin ng The Da Vinci Code, ang tagal bago bumalik sakin na nakalimutan ko na kung sinong nanghiram. It turns out na napagpasapasahan na pala sya and worst, may cover na bigla and the spine is sorta crumpled already.

Now, I don't lend my books anymore. Or if ever, only to a few closest friends ko na lang.

Yes kesa manilaw ang mga papel ng book ko. minsan pinapahiram ko sa mga friends kahit hindi hinihiram. sayang kasi kung ako lang ang makakabasa.

yes. i like it when i am able to share my love for reading and/or the story i read.

i have experienced na hindi mabalik, pero i become more cautious lang sa pagpapahiram to that particular person, but still share my good finds with those who want. yung mga nakakadismayang reads ko, hindi ko na pinapahiram, to spare my friends of the sakit ng ulo, hehe.

I'm OC especially sa mga pinaghirapan kong i collect na books so talagang sinasabi ko hindi ako nagpapahiram..but if i consider a book na ok lang minsan binibigay ko pa.

yeah, though minsan nakakasama ng loob kasi hindi nila binabalik. so now i take note of who borrows and when so at least i know not to lend them if alam ko na di sila mahilig magbalik.
