we were at SM last weekend to buy bed linens..natuwa ako na may mga naka-50% off but when i checked canadian and family home, puro 180TC lang ang naka 50% off, ngek i ended up getting items na naka 10-30% off lang, at least discounted pa din

Saan ba nakakabili nang linens na pang single bed na simple lang  yung design? Kumbaga white lang ganun or di masyadong OA yung print. Sa SM kasi di ko type yung prints eh

^try Margaret Muir bed linens. subtle dainty pretty prints on white. 100% egyptian cotton with 400 tc. rob and sm carry this. I simply love my collection of Margaret muirs but I only take the sets out if I have special guests staying for the night.

Me I love CANADIAN BEDDINGS. Since nung bata pa lang kami canadian na. Long lasting na maganda pa yung quality. Saka meron sila kasing mga sheets na anti-Microbial na kaya safe din sa skin lalo na sa kids. Ang alam ko available sya sa lahat ng malls. Yung sakin I bought it from SM.

^the set goes for 12k up sis the last time I checked. I know it's too pricey but you may also check out regular brands like family home. look for 300 tc up. but some prints of family home are too cheesy for my taste. daphne occena's collection with family home, linens direct, has pretty prints too. I like cannon and esprit too but look for 300 tc up. however, my experience with Canadian is not good. ang tigas tapos fibrous pa. if you're an s&r member, there are sets na good buys din, brands such as nautica, jc penney and wamsutta.

Grabe naman pricey ng beddings sa Pinas! P12K a set? I bought my esprit, Jasper Conran and Debenhams collection (200-300TC) here in Doha for around QAR150-250 each during their sale while king size down feather duvet TOG 1.5  cost around QAR100 or P1200.

BTW, about the duvet, for info mga sis, duvet has so called TOG or thermal resistance, the higher the TOG, the warmer it is. So kung sa pinas gagamitin, I believe better to buy duvet with lower TOG rating.

About the filler, hindi kami madalas maglaba ng duvet, binibilad lang nmin usually before palitan ng cover.

Sis ULTIma sheets have deep pockets. Can fit up to 10-12 inches yun thickness of your mattress. For me best part it's all garterised all around not corners like like other brands It's avail in SM and landmark.  Get the ULTIma na circle yun logo and color black ata. May cheaper line siya. Don't get that. Get yun pure cotton. Meron siya ng full set but I chose yun set na1 fitted sheet and 2 pillowcase Lang. Don't need yun top sheet. Para sure,Before you buy ask the sales lady to show you how deep the pocket is. I've changed all my sheets to ULTIma na. Happy ako so far. Inaabang Koif sale  para I can stock.

Sabi naman sa net, hindi lang TC ang basis para malaman kung ok ang sheets. May weaving pa, fiber, location (saan galing raw materials at saan ginawa).

Ang arte naman kung itatanong ko ito lahat sa salesperson haha! Paano usually ginagawa niyo? "Feel" them before buying? Go for brands?

if you have you friends/relatives sa US or AUS, try niyo pabili sa target ng in house linens nila. I got mine 70% off, which is 3200php for a 800 TC.

Sis I thought din I can detect good sheets just by the feel kasi nga knowing the TC is not enough.  Pero dami ko din mistake. After the wash Iba na ang texture. Experience is the best teacher.

Agree ako with sis ducky na super cheap sa US. Pero Di all around garter ang sheets nila which I like kasi I have kids and mas mmaganda ang all around garter. The only other place I know where you can get good cotton sheets na garterised all around is Vietnam. Pangit yun print kaya dapat choosy. But the fabric is mmaganda. Cotton talaga. Even yun duvet niya mmaganda. Not too thick and comfy maski walang aircon. Yun mga duvet natin dito makapal. D Pwede pang kumot. Pang bed cover Lang.

Hello!

Would anyone know where to buy plain white bedsheets and comforter? Kahit hindi white, basta plain (no prints). Puro kasi may designs nakikita ko sa malls.

sa S&R nakabili ako ng plain white fitted sheet at pillow case, pero comforter parang wala akong nakita.
