i bought this set from Ikea the other day. i thought kasi this has a huge discount pero mahal pa din pala. 20sgd lang budget ko. LOL

I've read more than once that it's not the thread count that matters but the feel (there are some brands that "cheat" by counting the strands or plies that make up an individual thread as additional threads. In other words, a thread count of 600 might really be just 300 low-quality double-ply threads).

Can someone please recommend where to buy sheets that are soft and cool to the touch (or which brand)?

i like hotel collection too but have yet to buy one since i didnt like the color available the last i checked.

the last nabili ko is a 300 thread count at Costco. ok na rin for everyday use, mura pa.

because of this thread nabili ako ng bago and branded na bed set pero honestly wala naman ako ma feel na difference sa luma ko at bago. di ko lang alam kung ano yung tc nung luma ngayon kasi 300tc.  at yung luma ko ay talagang mumurahin lang and i got it at zellers.

if its of good quality, you can actually feel the difference.
also, sometimes kasi the sheet is not made of pure cotton but a blend of certain % of cotton or twill or something else. i personally like 100% cotton kasi ang lambot.

i think good quality naman sya. i got the new ones at winners and ang brands are calvin klein and dkny tapos yung luma namin sa zellers lang ang di pa known ang brands saka lahat naman din 100% cotton pero talagang walang difference ako ma feel...ewan ko or baka ako lang yun.

kaso yung di ko talaga nagustuhan ay yung joe fresh na brand...talagang cheap and disposable. sabagay nabili ko lang sya ng $1 per piece sa grocery store. pero kahit na ba makita ko pa yun na 25 cents a set di ko pa rin bibilhin or kahit na ibigay nilang free...waste of money lang sya.

^Sis Yvonne23, which online shop did you get your recent purchase from, and how much? Di sya madali mag-fade? Yun kasi prob ko dun sa ibang sheets ko... Super lambot nga, pero after 2-3 washings, nagstart na mag-fade.

I buy different brands, I just make sure that the bed linens are 100% cotton and at least 300 TC. And I only buy white bed linens. Ang ganda kasi ng white, malinis at luxurious tingnan.
