mine is cisco linksys e1000. may times nagddrop yung wireless. pero okay naman so far, madaling iconfigure. 4/5

we tried belkin brand before, hay naku sakit sa ulo isetup! nireturn namin.

netgear router is also okay, malawak yung coverage niya. in fact, yun ang router ng kapitbahay namin kaya minsan nakikiride-on ako sa net niya (nang di niya alam ) haha

^that's the problem with linksys, connection gets dropped...

i have belkin, i don't find it hard to setup

^ yeah, i shouldve read reviews before i made the purchase. but too late na eh, so a reset-over-the web na lang ang solution when the router gets stucked.

belkin? good for you, anong model yan sis? what made matters worse with belkin is their customer service. ang hirap intindihin ng mga indians nilang agent. and they're not helpful at all.  hinahanap pa yung isasagot sa script, nakakafrustrate. check their reviews sa amazon.

^bought it a long time ago. Belkin54G. even though it's a G model only, the signal is great even on the 2nd floor or outside our house connection never gets dropped...

pero kasi dito sa atin if DSL, they have their own modem... so you really have to buy your own router

if wireless broadband, meron ngayon like myfi ng globe, it's a broadband & at the same time router siya...

sa dinami dami ng naka router dito,  kami lang ata sinwerte sa cdr king!  ours works.  has been,  no glitches,  for almost a year na yata ito...

ang problem ko lang with our linksys router is nadi-disconnect sya everytime i download a torrent, so kailangan pa i-connect directly sa pc yung cable...may mali kaya sa pag setup?

^sis, I have a Linksys router at home and I never experienced any problems like what is being discussed here. I got the WRT610N for high performance kasi we also use it with our Wii and PS3. Si hubby nga madalas ang online gaming nya with his PS3.

d-link 2 yrs ko ng gamit ..and mas mura sya sa lynksis
kung may friend ka na nasa china mas makakamura dun d link cost only 600 satin sa pinas 2k.

^there are some routers with USB slot (some routers doesn't have a USB slot, only for cable/LAN  connection (DSL))

there's also router for  usb connection only

I purchased a cdr king router over a month ago, kaya lang ayaw ma set up  I even hired a technician kaso ayaw talaga ang nagyayari is from lappy to router detected from router to internet (smart bro) ayaw  I called smart bro re this concern hindi na daw magagawa yun, it should be a actual person technician, hindi din pwede yung technician nila. Help naman po

^ang sabi kasi dati ng taga cdr king, compatible lang daw ang CDR king router, if you have CDR king lan card also... something to that effect... i'm not sure though...

i still don't recommend products from cdr king other than their CD/DVD

connect the sky broadband in your router... connect your PC/Laptop's cable modem to the router...

try typing 192.168.2.1 in your browser... if you could see the settings

I'm not totally aware kasi sa product nila kasi 3 years ako I purchase wifi router on CDR king (different brand) and it works well naman when it retired I went to CDR king to purchase same product, but the thing is ayaw mag install ng software, they switch it nalang sa product daw nila so they can fix it or install, kaya lang hindi talaga maayos though connected naman 


can anyone recommend a good router, not too pricey though and may costumer service to call when u have a problem, can't afford to purchase another router that is not functioning sayang moolah
