sisters, kapag ba naka router na para sa wifi, paano iyong connection ng PC? kasi di ba ang laptop naman may wifi reader. sabi kasi ng friend ko iyong connection daw sa router iyon ang diretso sa PC? correct ba?

^ yup sis..
gagamitin mo yung cable para i-connect yung router sa desktop para magkaroon ng hardwired connection..
pwede ka ding bumili ng wireless card para sa desktop mo para makapag-wireless connection ka din dun.

Mga sis, I don't know if this question has been asked. But I'd like to ask sana how to put a password for wifi routers? Kasi when I connect to our router, I can see other signal within our area. So ibig sabihin, they can see ours too.

I'd like to put a password sana but I don't know how.

We are using a gateway wifi router by the way. Iba iba ba ang paglalagay ng password depende sa brand ng router or it's one and the same?

so sis pwede na di na bumili ng wireless card for the pc? kasi dagdag gastos pa iyon...ano advantage/disadvantage if naka hard wired or naka wireless ako for pc?

^ oks lang din sis kahit wala nang wireless card para sa desktop..
sabagay...dagdag gastos nga lang din..
for me sis, mas mabilis kapag hardwired.
kapag wireless naman, pwedeng mong gamitin yung pc mo (na may wireless card) kahit nasa ibang room.
parang gaya ng laptop..

help po..

naglipat kami ng hse, before kasi pldt dsl ang gamit namin plus the wireless router na netgear.. plug and play ok na si wifi.. pero ngayon.. naka-bayantel dsl na kami tapos netgear router ulit gamit namin.. ayaw mag-connect.. tumawag naman ako sa bayantel.. di daw sila nagcoconfigure ng router... ano po pwede ko gawin para magamit ko namin yun wifi dito sa bagong hse..

sayang naman kung bibili pa ako ulit.. thanks

guys, based on your experience, ok ba yung router kahit may wall in between computers??? hindi naman masyado makapal, i doubt it may not work, sayang lang... $:-\$

and i have a concern din kasi, i'm applying for globe internet, kaso yung wired is not yet available dito sa lugar namin and yung pldt naman sabi may problem pa connection dito so they can process the application by march pa daw... i decided to avail of globe P795 na lang... since i have tattoo and everything is good naman sa connection i go for globe but we have two computers (pero yung isa hindi naman masyado nagagamit), they adviced me to use a router. can you suggest of a router na magwowork sa wireless internet connection?

nasira na yung dlink namin na wired router so we have decided to go wireless.
nabwisit kami ni fafa kanina sa cdrking kasi very kupad ng service... kabwisit ang long line, ang bagal at ang susungit ng SA... lipat kami octagon and we got a different cheaper brand.. Tendi. P1700++ lang sha

installed na namin easily. di namili ng provider. may password na. madali lang iinstall. gamit ko na nga now o.

so pati ang cellfones namin dito sa bahay, naka wifi na! weee!

^sis, wala bang instructions sa manual? wala bang binigay na IP address you will go to para maka set up ng settings ng router mo?

itong amin kasi, pinapunta kami online to this IP address para dun lalabas yung interface mismo... maka set ng password sa window na lalabas. pero dapat online...

hindi ba makikita ang manual sa website ng router nyo??? kasi i have tp link, kakabili ko lang... may manual siya pero it has the same manual sa website nila... may mga q&a pa nga to better assist. tapos madami options kung ano other way to set up. pati yung password set up nandun... suggest ko lang sis, check mo yung website nila...

yes.may mag appear na username&password.sabi kasi blank lang [textspeak!] username and [textspeak!] password, admin daw i-type.pero wala pa rin.paulit ulit lang ganun.. hay
