Hi mga sis.. may questions lang ako..We're planning a day tour in Manaoag-Hundred islands, mid-september.
Kung sa Victory Liner Cubao po kami sasakay, dadaan na po ito ng Manaoag church,tama po ba?

may derecho bus na manaoag ang signboard. pero ilang trips lang yun in a day, so u can check their website for the sched. otherwise, board a bus to dagupan then from dagupan ride a van or ordinary bus to manaoag. fr manaoag naman to hundred islands naman ganun din sakay kayo van or bus to dagupan then sa dagupan sakay kayo van or ordinary bus to alaminos o bolinao

^ sis, kung sa Cubao din naman kayo sasakay, better to ride bus from Dagupan Bus Line, they have daily trip to Manaoag (everyhour). mga 3-4 hrs travel lang then sa tapat mismo kayo ng church ibababa. I suggest you ride on the 12MN or 1AM bus para konting time lang hihintayin nyo sa pagbukas ng church, first mass is 5AM. Tama si sis matet, from Manaoag, you just have to ride a van papunta Dagupan and from there you can choose to ride a bus or van (Pine Garage Terminal) papuntang Alaminos. I posted our expenses sa Local Travel expenses thread when we did a daytrip to Manaoag-Hundred Island last May..

@deleonanamarie if you're travelling early and be there daytime pa, pwede na lang din mag scout in the area, mas madami pa cheaper accommodations along the stretch ng patar. yung mga may websites and features like treasures of bolinao, outside and near sa kanila, dami pa choices. basta hindi tatapat sa long weekend, you'll find available rooms pa.

sis lischan ...dapat kasama den kame mag punta diyan sa Tondol Beach with hubby's family side, kaso sila na lang natuloy nung Holy Week... ito yung sinasabi nilang Little Boracay, ok naman daw yung beach and fine ang sand..weird lang daw, medyo matalahib pag on the way sa area...

if group kayo sis, kasya na 3k for a backpacking adventure. you'd need makakahati sa boat rental. if solo traveller ikaw, kulang 3k since you will have to shoulder all expenses

mga 7 pax kami.. mas ok ba mag commute nalang or mag rent ng car?..
magkano rent ng boat?

dati 1500 bayad namin since suki na nila daddy. rent a car, around 6k na ata abutin ngayon plus driver meals and toll fees. but at least, you have convenience of getting from one place to another, pwede pa kayo magside trip to bolinao. but if you're really in for a backpacking adventure, dali lang naman din mag commute.

Hello mga sis! Help please...

We're headed here on first weekend of May, with my officemates. We'll be around 10 pax. Some of us will bring their wives and kids.

We're having difficulty coming up with our itinerary. Our exact travel dates are May 3-5. Alis ng May 3 (Fri) night, after office hours and balik ng Manila on May 5, preferably around 3pm.  We have 3 places to include in our iti:

1. Lingayen - where our host lives
2. Alaminos - Hundred Islands
3. Bolinao - Lighthouse etc...

It seems we only have to choose between Hundred Islands and Bolinao. And HI wins over Bolinao because Bolinao is far daw.  

Mga sis, what do you think is the best sequence of these points to save time/effort?  I wanna go to Bolinao but it seems I have to let it go.

hi sis! ei, pareho tayo ng travel date to Pangasinan but we'll be going home to my huby's place lang. =) Baka magkasabay pa tayo sa bus, hehe!

my suggestion is:

May 3- en route (kung 8 ng gabi kayo aalis, dadating kayo dun ng mga 1-2 am sa Lingayen. pwede kayo makapag-rest muna)
May 4 - mga 6 or 7 am proceed to Hundred Islands. whole day. Kung pwede kayo magstay sa isang inn sa Hundred Islands, better, kasi malapit na yan sa Bolinao. if not, you can go back to Lingayen.

May 5 - kung sa HI kayo nagstay, kahit mga 8am na kayo proceed to Bolinao. or even mga 9am. Otherwise, alis kayo sa Lingayen ng mga 6-7 am to Bolinao. Then tour ng Bolinao. From Bolinao may buses na paluwas ng Manila. so pwede kayo umalis kahit mga 6pm and you'll be in Manila na by midnight.

^ Kung sa Five Star Cubao kayo sasakay, sis baka magkasabay tayo. :p

Thanks sa suggestion. Sana kayanin ng oras. Plan kasi namin maagang makabalik ng Manila, sana di midnight.  Baka unahin namin yung malayo - Bolinao muna tapos pabalik/palapit.
