^according to my pedia, the weaning of pacifier (and even breastmilk) happens best if it comes as a decision of the baby some babies really need talaga to satisfy their oral needs kasi if hindi nila satisfy magkakaron ng future implications...

my baby liked it when she was about 2-3 months then she stopped.

my baby discovered his binky when he was 7 months... there are occassions lang kelan nya hinahanap... before sleeping and while we change his clothes.. other than that, he's fine with anything na malalagay sa bibig nya.. LOL

yung baby ko before ayaw ng pacifier pero biglang nagustuhan nya when she was like 7 months.. Up to now yun pa din pampatulog sa kanya pero other than that wala ng use yung pacifier sa kanya.. Ang hirap lang coz the one that she uses is yung pacifier ng Pigeon for 3-7 months eh she's 10 months na now pero ayaw nya pa din ng orthodontic gusto nya pa din yung lumang style..

^my daughter uses the pacifier for sleeping purposes lang, kapag tulog na siya, niluluwa niya, un lang, kapag inabot ng antok sa mall at naiwan ang pacifier, hay! nagwawala. napapabili tuloy ako ng napapabili.

may differences ba ang pacifiers? she's using avent.

i wanna try my 1-year-old son on pacifier. kasi he cant sleep without his milk e di ba milk can rot his teeth. di ubra sa kanya water e. he doesn't like pacifiers, or at least the first time we tried it on him. ginamit namin avent. im searching for something that will resember a bottle nipple or something really close para talaga sana magustuhan nya. any suggestion?

my baby is turning 2 sa december 30 pa..she still used sa binky pag sleep lang..pano ko kaya siya stop from using it na? minsan pag nagpaplay siya naghahanap siya ng pacifier,,e sabi ko big girl na siya kaya dapat wag na..minsan lang naghahanap siya..pero most of the time pag mag sleep nalang naman siya gumagamit ng pacifier. help!

my 1 yr old baby girl is using pacifier and minsan naiinis na ako kasi mas gusto pa nya yung pacifier kesa dumede kapag wala naman syang pacifier di sya makatulog ng mahimbing pano ba awatin.

kaya ko lang naman sya pinagamit dun kasi nakita ko yung signs na kapareho ng sa kuya nya yung thumb sucking and until now medyo nahihirapan akong tanggalin yung thumb sucking sa panganay ko and he is 4 yrs old

we havent tried it yet, naawa kasi ako. infact bumili pa ako ng tommeetipee na binkies ulit for 18+ months. maybe in time. pag pray ko na lang. waaah. helpless talaga.

son ko din avent sis.. pero lately I found out na may mga pacifiers for certain ages.. meron pang 6-18months..

sis bakit bubutasan?? para tumigil ang baby?? kasi gusto ko na din tumigil sa pag pacifier ang baby ko.. 1 yr and 9 months na siya

^ oo kasi they are sucking air instead. so effect di sya masasatisfy.

pia, yes growing with the baby ang mga binkies. may 18+ na nga.

^^actually, i snipped/cut off a small piece of the binky from the end. from what i read, iba daw yung sucking sensation when it is cut off. it worked for my daughter. siya mismo nagluluwa nung binky. of course, may drama munang kasama before she eventually got used to it. it was really tough love what we did. but we didnt have a choice since at that time my daughter had a bad case of colds and the binky use daw can lead to ear infection.

^ haaay als, maybe when she's two. how old si sofia nung nag stop. 19months na si ershi

^haps, around 15-16 months. tough love talaga. wouldnt give in kahit umiyak siya ng todo-todo. plus, i cut off all her binkies. para no temptation on my part to give it to her once she started crying. days after that, she totally forgot about the binky habit

^sis this method really worked for me as well. Anak ko na mismo ang umayaw kasi nga di maganda ang pag-suck. Am planning to do this to my daughter again.

sis pano mo cut [textspeak!] pacifier gusto ko rin gawin to sa baby ko kc he cant live without it as is kahit tulog pag tinanggal tumatayo at hinahanap nya tlaga at d sya matutulog pag wala to as in super magwawala sya.

dati dependent baby ko sa binky.. as in hindi makatulog pag wala nito.. now he's 14months old, sya na mismo ang umaayaw sa binky.. meron lang times na kukunin nya sa bed nya (lagi ko iniiwan dun just in case gusto nya pacify sarili nya)..
