nasubukan mo na ba i-wean from pacifier sis snowflake? sa mga batang nakikita ko ngayon, kahit 2yrs old naka binky pa din eh.. depends siguro sayo kung kelan mo gusto i-wean..

binili ko n ng pacifier si baby.. kakatuwa di naman siya adik sa pacifier at hindi rin niya hinahanap hanap..hehe

pag ayaw, ayaw niya [textspeak!] niluluwa..
pero pag tapos na inom dede tas di nakatulog dahil na-interrupt hehe pacifier pampatulog niya..
pero minsan ayaw din niya...

hindi naman. wala lang. para lang mag stop na sya. feeling ko kasi big na sya. pero love na love nya pa din. pag nakikita nya esp before going to sleep naku parang mga mata nagsparkle!

^cut a small portion from the tip of the binky. when my daughter had a bad case of colds, the pedia said to stop with the binky since it contributes to the ear infection. this is what i did. siya na din ang umayaw sa binky after cutting the tip off.

baby ko din before super dependent sya sa binky nya, pero ngayon medyo hindi na masyado, minsan nga ayaw nya na talaga eh..

My baby just started using pacifier today. As much as possible ayoko talaga sanang gumamit sya. Honestly, aside from my baby's pedia is against it... the reasoning was that I don't like it when kids always have them in, even babies because you don't get to see their cute little smiles and mouth movements. It is strictly a personal opinion though mga mommies and I don't look down on people for using them, I just didn't want to see one in my baby's mouth all the time...

But just earlier iyak sya ng iyak while we were on a video call. My mom did everything to console him but nothing worked this time. So my hubby suggested to offer a pacifier and so my mom did. Ayun pagsubo tulog agad. I think I can't get rid of it. I'm just afraid that he will be a paci addict.

Nagulat talaga ko dahil tulog agad sya nung binigay yung binky sa kanya. Good thing naalala ni hubby na my binky na kasama yung avent new born starter nya.

my pedia's against it... kasi small si baby

.. though we're really tempted to use it kasi ngtathumbsuck sya..sabi ng pedia offer the milk everytime nagtathumbsuck.. kaya ayon lagi kami nagwrewrestling, hehe

after reading this thread balak ko na bigyan baby ko pacifier kasi naoover feed na naglulungad na kasi everytime umiyak padede ko agad kahit kakatapos lang. buti may pacifier kasama ang newborn starter ng avent. nabasa ko it reduces the risk of SIDS din.

my son never used pacifier nung baby cya, ayoko talaga non kaya never akong nagtry...and di ko din cya nakitang mag thumbsuck hehe.

For 2 weeks now, natuto na ang baby ko mag pacifier... tumatahimik sya pag meron syang pacifier... lalo na for the past few days kasi may sipon... di naman umiiyak pag tinatanggal pero nag f*** sya (four fingers nya pinapasok sa mouth.. LOL)..

^according to my pedia, the weaning of pacifier (and even breastmilk) happens best if it comes as a decision of the baby some babies really need talaga to satisfy their oral needs kasi if hindi nila satisfy magkakaron ng future implications...

ano ba reason sis why mo gusto iwean baby mo?
