^Sis, I think the 399 CAD$ is for the services of the immigration consultant. The fee kasi for the Principal applicant is 550 CAD$ + 550 CAD$ for family member over 22 and spouse + 150 CAD$ each for family member less than 22 yo. So kung tatlo kayo, and computation niyo ay ganito:

Principal applicant:    550
Spouse                   550
Son                        150
TOTAL              1250 CAD$.

If you are the principal applicant, you have the options to include in your application your husband and your son. Kaya pwedeng pwede mo sila sis isama sa application mo. Pag naapprove ka, pati family mo kasama pending medical results ata.

THANK YOU SO MUCH SIS KIWI!!! atleast i had na idea already. Nakausap ko kasi friend ko kahapon although ibang pattern kasi yung nangyari sa kanya kaya hindi rin nya alam. AKala ko rin kasi yung 399C is visa processing for me alone. Its most likely consultation fee nga lan yun, iccheck ko ulit. 

Nalolost lang ako kasi baka mamaya makapagbayad ako bigla yun pla for my own visa lang pala yun, then maiiwan ko pala family ko dito

question po ulit, kung inapply ko na sya in case pwede po kayang wala pa muna akong employer na mapapasukan? or maaaprubahan din sya kahit wala pa ring nakuhang trabaho? possible po kaya yun?

Hi mga sis.. I wanna try my luck in canada too but can anyone give me advice on how I can land a job there easily? like online application and where to apply? im an IT grad kasi and ive had only 2 yrs work experience. May chances kaya ako?

Sis merry, about sa tour naman. Try mo po consult a travel agency kasi meron silang mga packages, depende sa mga spots na pupuntahan mo and minsan may mga packages sila using discounted airfares kaya makakamura ka and medyo accurate and prices. About sa documentation kasama na rin sa knila yun. Im just not sure kung meron ding show money.

hindi ko lan po sure kung mahigpit na sila ngayon kasi before as long as meron ka ng mga pertinent documents for establishing yourself and yung mga show money sa bank statement and sponsorships, pwede na yun. hindi ko lang sure sa panahon ngayon 

Sis abie, last question po, mga nasa magkano po kaya inabot ng fees mo? kasi baka aside dun sa binayaran mo meron pa kayang mga hidden fees na maaring magpalaki ng budget?  and pano po kayo nakakuha agad ng matitirhan pagdating nyo dyan? sensya npo makulit na akong masyado

if you're applying for skilled worker, wait mo na lang muna yung list of occupations na priority ngayon dito sa canada. as of this time maglalabas sila ng list subject for much earlier decisions like within 6-12 months may sagot agad ang embassy...i heard this fall daw lalabas.
for those who lodged their fsw applications before feb 27,2008 the waiting period which is 65 months will still be in effect...

Reducing Canada’s immigration backlog

On March 14, the Government of Canada introduced changes to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. The changes aim to modernize Canada’s immigration system and shorten the time it takes to immigrate to Canada. They were approved by Parliament on June 18, 2008.

Those who submitted an application before February 27, 2008—the day after the federal budget, of which these changes are a part—will continue to be processed under the old system. But the backlog will stop growing and finally start coming down.

Going forward, anyone will still be able to apply, but CIC will no longer be required to process all new applications submitted on or after February 27, 2008. Applications not processed in a given year can be held for future consideration or returned with a full refund to the applicant, who will be welcome to reapply at another time.

The Minister will have the authority to issue instructions to immigration officers on the processing of applications, including with regard to jobs available in Canada, so that people with those skills and experience can be brought to Canada more quickly. The Minister’s instructions will apply to categories of applicants, not individuals.

It is important to note that our objectives for family reunification and refugee protection will not be affected

thanks to those who reply regarding daycare... i think im also refering to dayhome (if that's what you call it) 5 kids lang ang maximum nya kaya nasusupervise talaga, the other 3 were being brought after school hours pa & included na rin yung food, within the neighborhood lang din.  we're approved in full subsidy but after 4 months they'll check on us kung may work na but the full subsidy is effective 'til september 2009 then rerecompute siya depending on our income...so far i'm liking it here in ottawa kakalungkot lang dahil wala pa ako masyao kakilala.

mga gano pa katagal sis kiwi?    kayong 2 lang?  sana magspeed up ang mga processing nating lahat para hindi naman yung uugod ugod na tayo saka pa lang tayo makakatungtong ng canada.

^Matagal-tagal pa sis. Last Oct 2007 lang kami naglodge ng appliucation. So around 4 years pa ang hihintayin namin.

Included, sis, sa application namin yun 2 kids namin. Si hubby and principal applicant.

Yung nakuha ko ngang dayhome, Pinoy ang provider and she's very good. Everyday I pick-up my son, may feedback sya palagi like kung pano mag-respond ang anak ko sa enviroment nya at saka kung pano nya dinidisiplina. At saka I like the part na 5 kids lang andun at hindi kung sinu-sinong bata. So far, nag-eenjoy ang anak ko dun which is good kasi enjoy din ako sa bago kong trabaho.
