I love Cukay's red velvet cupcakes.

Yeah. Cukay's red velvet cupcake is so good. Sophie's mom is so so lang for me. Vanilla Cupcake's chocolate cupcake is very sweet nga but my sister who loves super sweet pastries adores this so kanya kanyang taste lang.

Masarap yung sa everyday mom's located at scout tuason. Although their flavors might be limited, masarap sya especially [textspeak!] mocha cupcake and the carrot cupcake that has walnuts in it. Plus, affordable sya.. nasa 40php lang.

So far here are the RVC's I tried:

- Sophie's Mom : moisty cake, icing is a bit sweet
- Cukays : dry cake, i find the icing too sugary
- Vanilla cupcake bakery - dry cake, Icing is just ok
- Sonja's - creamy cheesy icing & moisty cake = perfect!

i agree. masarap yung cupcakes of Everyday Mom. yan pinamigay ko last Christmas. and the reicipients loved the carrot and cafe mocha cupcakes. the staff is also well-trained, efficient and very courteous. i would normally order ahead of time, pay in full and leave my cell no. with them, and the staff would text me that day itself, to remind me that my order is ready for pick up. so efficient!

saan kaya may same taste as cafe jeepney's red velvet cake? it's really way better than ucc vanilla cupcake bakery, karenskitchen, sophie's ect..

Tried sonja's red velvet and death by chocolate, overrated indeed. One of my very, very few food buys na pinagsisihan ko. Haha. The dbc, so so. Rvc, the cake was dry and bland. Also, the color was so fake red imo. Yung icing naman, a little too sweet and rough feel na feel mo ang sugar crystals. Sa pagkakaalala ko, tho it was a long time ago, mas okay pa yung sophie's mom (?) The cream cheese was cream cheesy and the cake was moist. But I have yet to try it again as I wasn't that much into rvc that time. I didn't like cupcake lab's din. Too moist, not in a good way. Icing nakakasuya plus I don't like whipped cream cheese frostings. Arte lang.

I tried sophie's mom cupcake last weekend. Chocolate na may cheesecake ata sa gitna. Sakto lang... lasang brownies hehe.

i like sonjas and gigis. next ang sophies. i find cukays icing too sweet but the cake is super moist l. vanilla cupcake was very sweet and very dry din. may nakatry na ba nung cupcake sa sm aura? yung royal something?

Was able to try that na but di ko masyado maalala how it tasted.  I just remember not liking it.

I tried Sonjas, yung peanut butter nutella? I didnt like it. Maybe because di naman ako mahilig sa tinapay. Tnry ko lang kasi matagal ko na gusto tikman yun sonjas

I've tried Vanilla Cupcake Bakery pa lang, red velvet and belgian choco, and I don't think bibili na uli ako dun. Masarap naman but tasted somewhat ordinary to me (considering it's 85 to 95 pesos).

Who else have tried kiss cupcakes keeping it so sweet? Nag order ako sa kanila and their cupcakes taste better than commercially available. Yun nga lang online sila but the staff were very efficient. 😄

Bought a dozen cupcakes from twelve cupcakes at lucky chinatown mall yesterday. They have a promo na buy 2 cupcakes get 1 cupcake free kaya we got 6 cupcakes free. Ok naman mga cupcakes nila not too sweet but for me, nothing to rave about.

Twelve Cupcakes - I love the chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting and the Nutella cupcake.  The red velvet cupcake is just okay but I like its cream cheese frosting.

Bought Frostings cupcakes last weekend. In fairness, affordable pala ang cupcakes nila at 45 or 60 each.
rvc- dry cake, icing is kinda weird
choco pepermint- moist cake, good mix of mint and sweetness
choco strawberry- forgettable
mango sansrival- dry cake, true to name
choco blackout- moist cake, icing is kind of like the ones in brownies but still good
carrot cupcake- moist cake, not so sweet and my current favorite

Hindi ko na feel ang Frostings. I don't like the taste of their chiffon. Dapat may icing para masarap, pag wala, hindi.
