Hindi ako mahilig sa cupcakes pero nagustuhan ko yung sonja's cupcake PB with nutella  sarap nung cupcakes parang kong nakain ng reeses chocolates!

I have finally tried cupcakes by sonja at glorietta!  we ordered elvis, peanut butter nutella cupcake, smores tart and valrhona milk choco hazelnut tart. We love all the 4 flavors that we ordered but elvis is the best!  super yummy talaga niya though it's a bit pricey. In fairness masarap talaga lahat! Will definitely try the other flavors on our next visit.

Red Velvet Vixen -- nagustuhan ko den yung rvc nila may pag ka tangy yung frosting pero sakto lang.. about the cake, ok naman sweetness, di naman ganun ka moist pero kinda sik-sik, yung lasa niya parang normal na cake ang nagdala talaga dun yung cream cheese

Peanut Butter Nutella -- surprisingly good masarap to... lasang lasa ang peanut butter, yung nutella medyo di ko masyadong nalasahan.. pero ok to orderin from them...

...kung nasa Bonifacio ako... mas type ko ang Sonja's cupcake, compare to Slice

^magkaiba yung valrhona nila sis eh kasi yung vanilla cupcake bakery, icing on top then cake siya. Dun sa sonja's tart kasi siya eh. Parang dark choco mousse then may crust. But i must say that they are both very yummy! sayang out of stock yung red velvet sa glorietta yesterday di ko tuloy natikman. I wanna try red velvet, pistachio, berry cheesecake and peppermint cupcake naman next time.

Mga sister tanong ko lang if may alam ba kayong recipe ng cupcake na close sa Lil Orbits Mini Donuts (if you have tried one) ang lasa?

I was looking for it all over the web and wala akong makita.

Was able to try the mini red velvet cupcakes from Cukay's.
Maybe I was expecting too much? Hindi ko sya nagustuhan, mas ok pa ang Sophie's Mom for me.

My favorite cupcake/cake is Red Velvet because it is not too sweet, tapos medyo salty yung taste nya.

Red velvet of Slice in High Street Extension is good. It is owned by Pia Cayetano. Their Red velvet cake is pricey so if you want to try medyo mas mura yung cupcake.

I agree, Cucay's mini red velvet cupcakes are also good.

For Sonjas hindi ko gusto yung red velvet nila. Favorite ko lang dun is yung vanila sunshine nila.

wala na yung portobello na binibilan ko ng red velvet sa the block, hindi pa naman masyado matamis saka super moist sya, yung frosting nya manipis lang pero super sarap may pagka sour sa dulo.

Sophies Mom = so so lang ang lasa, very ordinary. maganda lang yung box pero not the taste na hahanap hanapin mo

Cukay's = natikman ko sya a while ago sa Eastwood, well hindi ko sya type, parang ordinary lang din at super tamis nung frosting, naka 1 kagat lang ako pinaubos ko lahat kay hubby

Sonja's is ok for me, sometimes I find the icing too sweet and overpowering. What I like is the lemon cupcake and the cookies and creme.

I loved the coconut lime cupcake from JJ's Cuppacakes but the recent ones I've had didn't taste the same, the lime filling wasn't tart enough sayang. Their red velvet is pretty good too.

However, the most unforgettable cupcake for me is the red velvet from Cupcake Lab! It's sooo moist! And not too sweet also Hubby also cannot forget their cheesecake cupcake, it was five bites of heaven for him daw!! hahahaha I wasn't really a fan of their chocolate cupcake - the buttercream frosting became so hard when I put it into the ref and it felt like I was eating solid butter.

Frostings is so-so, kinda dry and not that flavorful for me. Only tried it when my mom bought them for our dog's birthday.

Where is Gigi's in Eastwood? I work there and have never seen it! I love their custaroons! My cousin brought it our family Christmas party a few years ago but I was preggy and had to limit myself to a few lang. I remember making a point to bring some leftovers home and ate them in the succeeding days, still good! I wanna try the chocolate coated ones

Masarap pala Cupcake Lab! Yesterday I got to try their red velvet, peanut butter smores, and banana wheat. I loved them all sobra. In fairness, hinde ako masyadong mahilig sa red velvet pero I think sa kanila yung pinaka-ok na na-try ko.
