^good for you. your wait time is not bad, i've been on h4 longer than you do but i guess i'm not as lucky as you are on the ead. what kind of work are you looking for?
^is there a way to quicken the process? i'm so bummed! tapos sobra pang depressing ng weather ngayon sa illinois, i feel i'm cursed!
^ There's a thing called premium processing -- in this way, the petitioner pays extra bucks to fast-track the application process. I'm not sure though if this can still be done now that your petition has already been filed.
I'm in the IT field back in Manila, worked for an antivirus company. Kaya I'm hoping to have a similar work here. San ka sa IL sis? We're here in Chicagoland (Western Chicago Suburbs). Super lamig nnman nga, nag-flurries na today. Not really, not unless your application was under EB2. Kasi yung EB3, it's currently processing those with Priority Date na Feb 2005. So if mas later kayo than Feb 2005, kelangan pa magwait. We're lucky, yung husband ko kasi he was filed under EB2 and it's CURRENT. Meaning there are visas available. Last Sept lang kami ni-file and then after 3 months, nakuha na namin yung EAD.
based on my observation there are many it jobs available so siguro you will not have a hard time looking for a job. we're in the north suburbs, very near wisconsin na.my hubby's on eb2, kaya nga rin kami naiinip because we know it's current and yet ang dami ng nauna maapprove than ours. sis inggay knows how long we've been waiting, taon na ata yung discussion namin sa kabilang forum about this. i don't know if it's wise to wait some more or uwi na lang ako sa manila para makapag work. haaaay!
EB2 kayo nakafile sis? Anong priority date nyo? May copy ba kayo ng Receipt Notice? Kasi you can check here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do yung status ng application nyo.
thelady: I hope that your lawyer can still do the premium route at this point. I'm sure something can be done... konting patience pa, you'll get there rin
hi sis gnela!
we can also file for an appeal pag nadeny ang i-140 pero that's a longer wait. might as well start with perm again. haaaay sakit talaga sa ulo if madeny man.
ayaw ko na nga isipin yung denial, kaso kailangan rin namin maging prepared for that kaya kahit wala pang result ay iniisip na namin kung ano ang gagawin if ever malasin. almost 4 years na ako on h4.kamusta naman pag ineexplain mo yung h4? nagegets naman nila agad? tingin ko hindi na matatagalan at makakakuha ka na rin ng work. sa downtown ka ba humahanap?
possible reasons? ka engengan ng lawyer! rotflol. seriously, marami nadedeny because of documentation. kaya nakakainis diba kasi kung ikaw mismo ang gagawa for sure wala ka mamimiss sa requirements. yung ibang lawyers kasi considering routine na yun sa kanila e may kulang pa rin minsan. pag nag appeal minsan inaabot ng 2 years at yung new application, back to perm stage pero kung maaapprove agad in 2 years pwede mo na makuha ang ead.
sis inggay pala, how about your case? thanks for all the info you have emailed me, we needed those! bukas aasikasuhin ni hubby at isasampal nya sa mukha ng employer nya. lol.
