Balitaan din kita sa New World kasi we'll be having our conference there next week. Try niyo dun mag-ocular doon sis meixin.. But if talagang decided na sila sa Century, maybe your photographer could do some variations para di same na same sa wedding day mo..

Are you giving ang pao to your bearers and flower girls? How much ibibgay niyo? Ours are 4-7 years old and I don't know what the appropriate amount to give them is.

Hi mga sis, just want to ask usually what should i give to the  primary sponsors na gift as a token of appreciation and respect na pumayag sila na maging ninong or ninang aside sa fabric na gagamitin nila? Thanks!
P.s sorry i don't have an idea kasi my fiance is actually the one who is chinese but he also doesn't have any idea about this.

Hi whutup, yes, buong entourage except for the primary sponsors according sa napagtanungan ko any amount will do but i think minimum is 1k much better daw kasi ang mas mataas as a sign of good and prosperous marriage something like that.

@prettylove kung yung traditional na gift (medyo makaluma) ang alam ko na mga dadalhin nyo is 2cans pork leg, 2fruit cocktail, misua. And cookies ata, this one I'm not sure. Pero kung di naman kelangan na traditional pwede naman mag iba. Nung minsan na naging ninong/ninang parents ko, the couple brought pata bihon(cooked na) and some other food items sa amin. HTH :)

@prettylove - sorry for the late reply. Ours is not supposed to be a traditional Chinese wedding. But since our eldest uncle (first cousin of my mum) is a pretty traditional person who still follows the old ways, we did incorporate some customs. We brought them fruits when we gave our invites and asked if they will come to our wedding.
My husband has a Chinese name but they do not practice the Chinese ways, nevertheless they were glad that I will be marrying somebody with Chinese lineage. I did get an a bit of an earful because there was a part in my invites whereein I didn't follow the supposed format. hehe... although yun lang naman ang napagalitan ako hehe

Hi ladies, it's my first time to post here but i've been reading gt threads since 2010  :P  I have been recently engaged and has less than a year to prepare (exactly 8 months from today) so I'm panicking a bit hehe.

I need your help sana about wedding hosts.. so far from back reading, Max Tiu and Jerome Go seems to be the favorites :) However, we are on a budget and I'm trying to look for someone who's rate is 25k below. I came across KV Golamco here and he seems to be good based on his videos and feedback. A recommendation from one of my suppliers is Carolyn Batay though I've never heard anything about her before and have never attended any event where she hosted.  Ok kaya siya? or do you guys have any other suggestions please :)

Sorry if meron na pala about this and I missed it :D

Thanks in advance!

Hi, girls! How's everyones preps going? Hope you're not in panic mode like me haha!

Anyways, I'm in some sort of a pickle. Both fiancé & I have close friends who've recently lost relatives but they've already confirmed via save the date notices. Pasok kasi sila sa 100 days but they're not aware of the practice even if they're Chinese as well. How can we tell them nicely kaya that they're sorta uninvited?

Hi girls!

I really want to get married in Manila Cathedral but the elders say ayaw daw ng Chinese. Something to do with isang poste daw na malas? Have you heard of this? Sayang kasi they have an available slot on our date :(

@corpse_bride: which particular relative? kasi kung di naman parents and/or grandparents alam ko ok lang naman umattend pa din.  also kapag mother side kasi parang outside of that family na yung girl pag nagasawa na.
On your particular issue though, parang mahirap nang bawiin ang invite.. It might be deemed rude.. :(
