for those who bought tela for ninongs/ninangs, where did you get them?  divisoria?

Natanong ko yan and ang sinagot niya sa akin nung person, talk to our parents daw and approximate how much your prospective ninongs and ninang will give sa inyo sa wedding. To be honest medyo we have to know daw kasi baka mamya malalaki pala talaga magbigay tapos ang iggift mo e sobrang mura, nakakahiya daw. Parang tinipid natin sila. Or baligtad naman maliit pala magbigay, yung binigay natin mas mahal pa sa niregalo.. So alamin approx how much they will  give or usually gives, average them out with the rest of the PS. Tsaka magdecide ng budget then look for stuff na pasok sa budget. Like kunwari 100k magbigay yung mga PS then mga 10k worth is maganda na.

^thank you @meixin! That's good advice. I'll speak to my parents about it. Most of our sponsors are either my godparents or close relatives, so hopefully my parents will be able to estimate how much they'll give, so that I can fix my budget for this already.

Hi everyone! Just got engaged last Feb! Ask ko lang san kayo nagpatingin ng wedding dates? We're planning Feb next year, but unfortunately sa natanungan namin, wala pa daw kasi chinese calendar for next year kaya almost a month na kami naka hang..

Yung feng shui book comes out around october/november.. So kung aantayin nyo yun, it would take too long at baka maubusan kayo ng slot sa gusto nyong venue.. Believe me, that's what happened to us... May 2015 kami na-engage, than our plan is for an October 2016 wedding. Inantay namin lumabas yung book but by then, booked na mga 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice namin na venues and even our church. We had to move our date to January 2017 and parang pinagdasal nalang yung date kasi sobrang walang makuhang ok na date for us this year. And the book only covers current chinese new year day until next chinese new year(e.g. February 8, 2016-January 27, 2017 current book coverage). I suggest wag nyo na antayin yung feng shui book. Magpabless/magpadasal nalang kayo ng date sa temple or something..

We just googled our date. 1 year planning kasi for July wedding & no calendar yet as per elders. Can't wait na din coz sakto lang 1 year to plan. Just compare best, good & bad dates from different sites. Meron 1 site that even gave yung chong na sign for that date but good for others.

So far, accurate naman. What we saw na good & bad dates (including ours) are sakto.

But yun din naisip namin. If we picked a bad date, alay & dasal nalang ng todo. Hth!

^Nagtry din kasi family ni fiance na magtanong sa temple nila pero parang di din nagbibigay ng date e.. Feng shui master siguro pwede, pero di na kami naghanap that time. Depende din siguro how strongly they believe in that, kasi yung nagoogle ko ayaw iaccept ni MIL e hehe di daw tama yun. Mas gusto niya yung makita talaga yung dun sa book, until ayun nga medyo na-no choice na pinagdasal lang.
