^How big ba are your dogs?

Suggest ko lang if your dogs are small and you want to use the frontline in pipettes, buy the big pipettes para hindi magastos.  Tapos hatiin mo na lang sa mga dogs mo.  The pipettes come in different sizes intended for dogs of different weights.  Depende kasi sa weight ng aso yung amount ng gamot na kailangan i-apply.

The smallest pipette is for dogs up to 22 lbs (.67 ml dosage), next  is for dogs 23-44 lbs (1.34 ml dosage), then there's one for dogs 45- 88 lbs (2.69 ml dosage).  So if each your dogs don't weigh more than 22 lbs, you can buy the biggest pipette and divide the contents for four of your dogs already.  You can just transfer the contents into a syringe so you can apply the appropriate amount on your dogs.  Just be sure you know how much your dogs weigh so you can give them correct dosage.

Marami din ticks and fleas yung dog namin before, we thought of using frontline pero nawala naman siya after using an anti tick/flea shampoo and nilalagyan namin ng salt yung gilid ng mga walls sa bahay namin, kasi dun nagtatago yung mga ticks na yan. I use Doggie's Choice all in one herbal shampoo coz its readily available madami sa SM niyan and herbal pa so di mashado nakakatakot.

bathing your dogs with anti tick and flea soap won't eliminate the parasite infestation.
follow nyo lang to mga sis:

-clean your house -- use a non toxic all purpose cleaner tapos buy an asuntol solution.
-use the asuntol solution(dilute nyo lang sa water tapos lagay nyo sa sprayer) and spray them all over the walls where your dog stays(cage, walls, garage, etc..)
-bathe your dog/s using any soap(optional-remove all the parasite na kita nyo)
-buy frontline plus sa vet clinics or petshops(I'm not advertising the product pero super effective sya)
-apply frontline plus sa nape nung dog nyo(follow the instructions on how to apply the product sa packaging)
-guaranteed po ito > your dog/s will definitely be parasite free(syempre make sure to keep clean your area at maintain using frontline-as a preventive measure for infestation)

has anyone here used k9 advantix? this is what i use for my dogs as prevention kasi we live in florida. hot spot ng ticks/fleas. when i take them outside for a walk marami kaming nakakasalubong na aso kaya ngaung summer i am going to use k9 advantix pang repel lang ng mosquito/fleas/ticks. kasi topical din ang ginagamit ko so i'm a bit worried about them kasi they play all the time nagkakagatan ng balahibo, ndi pa poisonous sa dogs itong k9 advantix?

Dati as in lahat ng aso namin sa bahay ang dami. Then I bought frontline spray around 500 siya sa cartimar. Nawala naman ticks and fleas nila

frontline its better to have the vets assistance if you're gonna spray this to your dog for the 1st time.

grabe mga ticks sa rottweilers namin after 1 week of applying frontline ayan nanaman sila. we already cleaned the dogs place pero grabe ang dami parin lahat na sinubukan namin, asuntol, frontline, doggies choice, sergeant, zonrox for cleaning the walls sabi daw kasi nakakatulong pero hayyy until now ang dami pa din nila!!!

Sis, para rin syang frontline, pero may additional benefit, it prevents heartworms.  Medyo mas mahal yata sya ng konti sa Frontline.
Ask your vet, for sure, alam nya ito.

Hi mga sis!

I'm not sure if this will be the cure for ticks as well.  But my mom, as thrifty as she was, used to buy used oil from gasoline stations, and massage them on our dogs' skin.  It's used like a hair conditioner but it comes before the shampoo. 

It's obviously greasy, but worth a try.

is it ok na pull the ticks off our dogs? may nagsabi kasi na pwede kutuhan mo yung aso then wag tirisin yung mga kuto. instead, sunugin or drown them sa lalagyan na may gas 

pag tinanggal kasi minsan nagdudugo. kawawa doggie

--Never simply pull a tick off your dog,Doing so may leave part of the tick in your dogs skin which can lead to a bad infection or even bad scar.

--Place a small amount of rubbing alcohol precisely at the site of the ticks mouth and bite,make sure that the alcohol will not get into your dogs eyes or mouth.

--Use tweezers carefully to grasp the tick as close as possible to the dog's skin very slowly pull out the ticks mouth and head from the bite it made in your dog.

--Be certain to get any tick mouth parts carefully out of the bite,put a little alcohol onto the bite or use any antiseptic to help prevent infection.
