^Î'd cry kung sa Le Cuir mangyari yun .If you suspect paint na gamit sa house painting and Le Pliage,you can try rubbing olive oil.Do pull out the lining as far back as you can para di mahawa.Depende sa kulay ng Le PLiage kasi, pag darker colored baka masira ng acetone technique ko e hehe.Pero kung medyo matagal na yung stain,I guess the nail polish-acetone combo couldn't hurt.I-spot test mo muna.Use cotton buds para konti-konti lang ang malalagay mong acetone.I haven't heard of a leather bag damaged by paint, but I've seen a leather sofa (not sure if real/bonded)na nadikit sa bagong painted na wall and dahil sobrang fresh pa, nadala sa basang basahan and water.

what is the best way or tool to clean LC Metal? pwede ba sya i-soak sa water and gently brush it with soap, just like washing a clothes?

Hi, i need help with my bag. The problem is yung lining ng handle, natatanggal. Dati may small part lang, i glued it and ok na. Ngayon bigger part na yung natatanggal.

^ Inquire ka sa herjas.  Usually cleaning 1500 to 2000, and if they will paint pa 3500 to 4000, baka they repair din.

Hello ladies! I want to have my Prada black leather bag cleaned but I don't know where I should bring it.  I stored it in its dust bag and totally forgot about it in my closet, it must have been at least 6 months since it last saw the light of day, and now it has a slight whitish film to it (molds maybe?) Have any of you tried the cleaning service of Doctor Leather? I don't think it needs to be restored/recolored or anything drastic like that (kase when I wiped it with tissue the white film/mold comes off) just cleaned. Ok kaya sa Doctor Leather?

I'm also waiting for feedback and prices for places where I can have my bag cleaned. My prada bag has a black thing spread out like the leather was scraped off somehow, 2,500 daw to colour it again and 90% lang mababalik.  Help!  It's been 5 to 6 months palang with me.

^ & ^^ have you tried Lovin' My Bags? They have several branches yata but I've only been to the one near Gilmore (Greenhills Town Center yata name nung compound, yung may McDo near JT's Manukan). They restore bags. If minor cleaning lang, they sometimes offer na lang their cleaning products para mas mura since magagamit pa for several items.

^ Thank you for the info, I'll look for a near by Lovin' my Bags branch. I sent Doctor Leather a pic of my bag and was quoted 2800 for cleaning, but I think kaya naman na I just clean it myself with the proper products.

Hi ladies Help me. I have MK Hamilton Logo satchel and wala na syang texture/body. Actually bigay ng mom ko, i think dahil hindi naitago ng maayos kaya nawala yung porma ng bag. What should I do?

^ try putting a small (throw) pillow inside.and don't store it in your cabinet muna. moisturize the leather with a good leather conditioner you have on hand.this is how i store my bags, lahat sila may throw pillows inside kaya di nawawala ang shape.If this doesn't work, bring it to a bag restoration place na.

How do you take care your leather bags? Nag-scuffing na yung Cambridge ko. :S

1-store it ALWAYS in a dust bag.If it didn't come with any, try using an old pillow case.
2-always use an air pillow/throw pillow/paper to stuff it when not in use.This holds the handbag's shape, especially if it's a really structured one or it's too slouchy (think Balenciaga soft-it literally falls on itself)
3-use a HANDBAG ORGANIZER inside.This prevents ink,perfume,lipstick & other  stains/forgotten items inside when you change bags.
4-I moisturize ALL of my handbags yearly and that's it.I use Leather honey for the dark ones and Saddle Soap for all the light colored ones.i use a basahan to apply it, leave it out for a day or two out of the closet then store them again.Any leather conditioner is actually good as it prevents cracking but I like Leather honey as it doubles as water repellent (at least that's what it claims although I've never gotten them really wet).
5-Try to remove stains ASAP before it sinks in more and gets absorbed by the leather.

Most of my bags are leather (Saddleback leather).  They require little maintenance but I use a product called Leather Honey on all of my leather goods.  It's supposed to condition, protect and prolong the life of leather.

^ Love Leather honey din.I use it for dark colored bags (I only have 1 brown and 1 black).I tried that on a peach colored bag and seems ok din medyo nakakakaba lang habang di pa nadry kasi nakaka darken talaga.Effective nga ba siya for waterproofing? I only use it for moisturizing/cleaning.

I have a few bags that needs to be reconditioned na ,i went to HERJAS sa retiro nagpaquote ako ng 3 bags,yung isa nagka tear na yung leather handle so anytime parang magdedetach na,they quoted me 280,they will change the hardware na daw sa handle,i dont know why need ichange yung metal na parang clip na rounded sa kate spade bag,the other one is 1500 for repairing the leather na nag scuff sa ilalim ng bag and pina add ko ng support yung handle kasi manipis na leather lang so i told them to back it up with a thick leather para di bumigay,the other one di ko na naintindihan kasi ang mellow niya magsalita hehe.balik daw ako ng 3 days
