Where do you usually store your bags?

I just leave mine sa dust bags then naka tabi lang. I'm thinking of puting them in a plastic box/container (the ones you see in SM). Good idea ba yun?

^dustbag too.  I also crumpled some scratch paper and stuffed them inside a plastic before stuffing into my bag (to avoid stains).  My bags are inside my cabinet.

By the way, Vintage Restore did another great job on a Chanel.   I want to share the link but I don't think it's allowed.

Dont put your beloved bags sa plastic box/container sis. Its not good for your leather bags. Putting them in a dustbag is enough.

I use apple garde rain and stain repellent on some of my leather bags and so far okay naman pero to be on the safe side, do a test in a small area that's not obvious muna then wait 24 hours to check the result.

i need to clean my bag's hardware, leather is ok pa naman but the hardware is kinda tarnished? its not as shiny as before, you think vintage restore or lovin my bags can polish it nicely? to make it look like new again?

If brave ka, you can just use yung brand na pang shine ng belt buckle (forgot the name). I just asked someone to polish my lv's zipper pull and good as new na siya . I haven't tried lovin my bags but sa vintage restore they were able to polish my lola's vintage purse and okay naman ang result.

^ depending on the size of your bags, a pillow case would fit most bags and relatively easy to acquire.You can make it a DIY project from any white fabric as well.

hi sis i used jergens mild soap or any mild soap will do then toothbrush na hindi na ginagamit.prob lang white yung sa loob ng lc ko yung tinta ng pen hindi ko matanggal

^try using clear nail polish sis.pull the lining out as much as you can.you can "paint" the stain then depending on how big the stain is,use a cotton ball or a q-tip dipped/dabbed in acetone.the downside of this is that sometimes, when the lining is dark colored, nag-fe-fade yun surrounding area.if you can live with that, proceed cautiously.You don't have to wait for the nail polish to  dry.the "halo" of remaining ink can be then removed with a dab of dishwashing liquid on your finger (kaunti lang), then have a hand towel moistened ready to rinse it.HTH

^never had paint splashed on my bags before.Not sure on the canvas material pati.but you can try spraying hair spray (as in yung pampa hold ng hair ha) direct from the can and then swab with a cotton ball gently.You can also try the acetone trick but I suggest doing this with a q-tip to try muna.I'm worried baka masira ang finish ng leather mo eh.It will also depend on what kind of paint it was-water soluble or not? is it like paint used for walls and stuff? Mas madali kc matanggal pag water based paints-a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water in a spray bottle or a small cup with a rag could take it away.If you do this, immediately rinse with a hand towel moistened with water (as banlaw) and a thick towel to dry it off ASAP.then once it's dried, don't forget to use a moisturizer on your bag.I use Fiebing's saddle soap (a misnomer since hindi naman talaga siya soap-it looks like a shoe polish in a can, yung old school polish) which I apply using a cotton tela-as in mga retaso.But any leather conditioner /polish could work, not sure what's avail locally eh.HTH.Do let me know if it worked.

^ sis, not sa Le Cuir (thankfully), but sa Le Pliage so nylon.. little streaks of white paint. feeling ko nadikit sa medyo di pa tuyong paintjob (wall or bench or kung ano man).
