Using the husband's surname, will you or will you not?

yup i'm using my hubby's surname

i am using a hyphenated surname, but my last name is my hubby's surname, and my middle name is my maiden name... i guess this is the legal way... meron kasing ibang documents where there is a question on mother's maiden name, so para iwas gulo, my father's surname is my maiden name...

hi sis, medyo naguluhan ako sa explanation mo. sorry ha medyo mahina talaga ako. can you set an example like you're Jane. tapos yung last name mo is Doe, then middle name is Smith. tama ba?

yup i'm using my hubby's surname and my problem is pinag aral ako ni hubby then yung gamit ko is surname niya..may nagsabi saken na dapat daw di ko muna ginamit yung surname ni hubby since sa education ko naman daw yun and hindi sa mga documents like SSS or health card...ngayon ko lang naisip...

Hyphenated yung akin kasi yung passport ko and visa nasa maiden name ko and natatamad ako pabago. Besides ang ikli lang ng pangalan ko so I like it na Hyphenated para mahaba hehe

Last Name: Doe (husband's surname)
First Name: Jane
Middle Name: Smith (maiden name)

this is how i fill out legal documents... but when i sign docs which are not too technical, i put my name as Mrs Jane A. Smith - Doe... it's a personal choice to always add my mother's maiden name as my middle initial... yung SM Advantage card ko, hyphenated ang last name ko..

proudly using my husband's lastname. it makes me feel na he's mine and im his talaga.

hyphenated ang family name niya sa family name ko. hehe ...

sa mga accounts ko, friendster, multiply, etc., naka-lagay na status ko, in a relationship, samantalang si hubby, married. 

sa facebook lang ako married, pero maiden name ko pa rin gamit ko.

i don't. parang hindi kasi bagay sa name ko ang surname nya. pero sa passport at bank documents surname nya gamit ko. but for those documents na meron ako before we got married, like my own bank account, prc license, etc. hindi ko pinapalitan. 

pwede ba magka-problem dun in the future? may marriage contract naman di ba to prove that we indeed got married?

i'm getting married next year. napag-usapan na namin that i'm still going to use my surname. so hypenated ang kalalabasan.

Nope, I did not use my hubby's last name. Proud na proud kasi ako to be my father's daughter, hahaha. Kaming lahat ng mga sisters ko kept our last names.

Wala rin boy sa family namin so hindi na ito dadami. Kung pwede nga eh last name ko ang gamitin ko sa kids ko... kaso hindi pwede dahil magtatampo na si hubby nyan.

for legal gov't. docs. i've been using hubby's surname, but for office docs. hyphenated since na established ko na with a lot of clients yung surname ko.

^omg, ngayon ko lang nalaman na may choice pala whether to use hubby's surname or not. 

in the office, im using the hyphenated otherwise, my hubby's last name. now i now, may choice pala.

im still not using it coz ang dami pang dapat igawa and were both overseas pa. nasa sg kame so mas ok gamitin chinese surname ko kesa sa kanya.....may use lang ang surname nya pag nasa davao kame coz both of his parents are lawyers so kilala sila dun....
