Cause i tried to open an account with BPI few days after i got married and i was advised that its best to wait for my marriage cert and other documents with my updated surname before i open cause if open now mababalewala din cause i have to change it later on.

^bpi rockwell sis. just opened a joint account with hubby and i used my maiden name. another bonus is that this branch has friendlier tellers and their banking hours are until 6pm cos of the mall hours

Thanks sis, i want to open a personal account though, i guess i really have to wait for my marriage certificate so i dont have to change anything afterwards.

Right now I use hubby's after mine. I just use hyphen. I've always liked the idea of using hyphens, only shows how much I value my maiden name.
I'll be back in school this November and I've decided to use mine muna. Hirap kasi ayusin ng papers eh. Would change my last name na lang to hubby's before I took the board exam para wala na prob sa PRC.

okay lang naman ang surname ko. hyphenated na lang siguro. maganda rin naman surname ng bf ko. kaso baka magtunog tongue twister lang ang pangalan ko kapag first name ko at last name lang niya. kung alam nyo lang. hehe... hyphenated para cool.
