I just got my Lenovo Z460 and I'm loving it.

nga pala, Toshiba ko, nag crack na (huhuhuhuhu, bumigay na) and I can't close it kasi nga magbubukas yung part na may crack (along the area where the monitor and the keyboard meets. mga bata kasi dito sa bahay napaka careless kung magbukas ng laptop ko eh, after 4 years nabasag na rin siya huhuhu., and alam ko nadaganan to at nabitawan din nila  sa sahig kaya siguro nag crack... pwede ko pa ba kaya tong ipaayos? yung pinaka case lang naman niya ang prob, performance wise its still very very okay, it's even faster than my bro's HP or dell hehe


ganyan din nangyari sa laptop ko sis.acer naman yung sakin.may pag asa pa kayang maayos to?

^^That's around P26k? Okay na yan. I got a Toshiba Satellite 1.3 buy sa States pero dinadala lang dito, paid P32k. Parang processor lang pinagkaiba. Of coursr wifi ready na yan di ba?

My sister's Toshiba lasted 5 years, actually kahit ilang bagsak na yun working pa din ngayon yung nga lang medyo mabagal na kaya pinamana na nila sa kids nila, kaya no doubt Toshiba Satellite din yung binili namin kahapon. Sana tumagal din kahit na mga 4 years sulit na happy with the Toshiba service kahapon, friendly yung umasikaso samin kahapon. Sana ok din ang after sales service nila, I asked kasi if ever magka problema sa hardware, sa kanila lang daw dalhin sila na magc-check

Toshiba is a very durable laptop pagdating sa hardware. Nag crack na rin toshiba ko same as with sis jenybasti.
Pwede pang ipaayos yun, theres a PC shop sa mga malls, I'll PM her the name of the shop, 2k daw paayos nun, good as new.
4yrs old n Toshiba ko next month, after 2 bagsak from the table, 2x natapunan ng kape/coke while naka on, countless bagsak ng laptop bag
sa airports and 1yr pinupukpok ng anak ko...buhay pa rin at mabilis...Toshiba Satellite.

just got my new office laptop.. a lenovo thinkpad so far, so good. i like the monitor coz its kinda big. doesn't strain my eyes that much.

i don't know if its the right thread. share ko lang na yung asus ang daling masira nung lcd screen. nung una yung hinge lang naalis and then since under warranty pa eh pinalitan w/o any cost, ngayon yung buong screen may crack na sa gilid and kakaexpire pa lang ng warranty. maingat akong tao kaya di ko alam kung bakit ganito. yung ibang orgmates ko din parehas kame ng problem at mas malala pa sa kanila kasi sa harapan na yung crack.

hi mga sis. help naman. im torn in buying a Toshiba or Samsung laptop. I know maganda reviews sa Toshiba pero medyo mahal kc siya. Yung Samsung mas mura and ganda pa ng mga designs nila ngaun. hindi lang ako sure sa performance ng Samsung. Anyone who has a Samsung laptop? Kamusta naman siya. Pashare naman. TIA!

MY 4yr old Toshiba stopped working. And I need a laptop asap. Was planning to buy Macbook or Imac but opted to buy Asus nlng. Just got it for $330 in Best Buy. At least kung masira, di masakit sa bulsa. It will be hubby's laptop. I've noticed wala ng kasamang Operating System disc. The SA said I can pay them to create a windows install disc. Sabi ko nalng I can do it on my own.

 I've had 2 laptops with a span life of 3-4 yrs.  All my previous laptop I've bought them for $1k up with additional warranty. Di ko man lang nagamit.
In the future I want to buy a desktop for its longevity plus it has a bigger screen with is a BIG plus for me. Need to save for IMAC.  In the meantime, the Asus is fine for my basic needs.

I hope you can share your experience in bringing home a laptop from the US.  I'm eyeing a Toshiba Satellite i5 and am thinking of asking a friend to bring it home (para tipid shipping).  I'm not sure if there will be customs duties to be imposed.  Baka nga nakamura sa unit eh mapamahal naman sa tax.

What my friends did when they bought a laptop from HK was to take them out of the box and

hand carry them. 

Suggestions/inputs are welcome.

Wala naman sis, twice na kami naguwi ng brand-new na laptop from US. Bothpaki usap to bring it home. Hand-carry sya. No taxes naman.

i have an IBM thinkpad and 3 years na kami going on to 4. (i have a relationship with my laptop) first ko sya and were going strong.. di ko nga lang binilhan ng bagong battery.. de saksak na lang..

if i want internet on the go, i use my iPhone for that..

i want an iPad2 sana di magtampo si IBM Thinkpad ko..

i need to have my screen repaired.  nag fliflicker eh.  cable or something kaya?  kasi ayos naman ang laman and OS eh.  just the screen that keeps flickering.

may marerecommend ba kayong repair shop or repair guy na trustworthy?

i'm looking for a new laptop although okay pa naman si acer aspire ko na mag 5 years old na! mukhang acer uli bibilin ko since subok na pero paang type ko din mag lenovo or asus. mostly pang internet lang ang gamit nya sa amin, pang itunes etc. okay na kaya yung eMachines by Acer eMD732-382G50Mnkk Core i3-380M, 500GB? thanks mga sis!

I recently purchased a samsung laptop. Ok naman un specs for the price. I am a bit wary at first because hindi ako familiar with samsung's reputation when it comes to laptop. So far, ok naman.

My old laptop is an HP and I've been using it for more than 4 years and un charger palang ang napapalitan ko. Medyo maingay na rin un fan kaya nakakadistract kapag gumagawa. Feeling ko mamamatay sya anytime soon.

hi! Paano po ba malalaman kung ordinary laptop sya or netbook na? Ano minimum size ng typical laptop? Saka i have question:

Sis FOURever, sa pagkakaalam ko, ang netbook usually mababa lang speed ng processor. mostly intel atom ang mga nakikita ko. yung specs na binigay mo, if i were you, i‘d go for z460, mas mabilis yung processor nya since core i3 na sya compared sa isa na dual core lang.

^thanks po! Ah. Akala ko po kasi mas ok yung intel dual core.. So latest pala ang i3? Sabi ng friend ng daddy ko, ganun nga kunin pero meron na rin daw i5 at i7 yata.. Yung higher na daw kunin ko =)
