i'm planning to buy a laptop... the budget is P20k... i want a laptop na pang-house sana kasi pag naka-desktop, masyadong kaakin ng space akya i prefer laptop na lang sa house.. i mga 12-14in monitor and yun medyo malaki na sana yun memory... do you know some laptop model na mag-ffit sa gusto ko.. kasya na kaya yun P20k??? pang browse and chattign lang naman sya kaya ok na sken kahit hindi masyadong bonggang bongga..

sis, meron ba ditong users ng Toshiba Satellite L500 series 14F? nagtataka lang kase ako sa charger nito sa ngayon. walang indicator na nagchcharge eh. 3 months old pa lang kase laptop ko. papayag kaya sila ipa fix ko tutal 1 year naman ang warranty.patulong naman baka may idea kayo please. tenchu!

@dropdeadgorgeous - yup, they should be able to replace it if there's something wrong with it.

@ayanlanz - check the model number. i purchased an eee pc on a whim once and it was soooo slow. got it cause it was sold to me at a huge discount tapos when i checked it out, yung particular model pala na yun maraming complaints. careful lang

pasali ako mga sis and bros... matagal na kasi akong bumili ng pc let alone a laptop so medyo outdated na talaga ako... but don't have the budget yet so lurker mode muna para updated

Me same but it is 15" yung saken and we purchased it sa US.. new user din ako, oo nga pala hindi ko nga napansin yung indicator na nag cha charge na.. anyway i love my laptop laki ng screen at windows 7 na siya..

Ok naman ang XP but make sure upgraded to SP3 na. Microsoft will cease support of SP2 by next month.

sis peanutbutterisforever, for me i'll go with either C2D or core i3. since you mentioned video editing and some photoshop i suggest you also try to check kung integrated or dedicated graphics ba. ok lang naman integrated if it's not that intensive but make sure yung bagong gpu na.

for me i'm just waiting to get my lenovo u460 laptop on monday (hopefully). i wanted to check na if ok ba yung core i5 na unit.

question, meron ba mga dell user here? bf is planning to buy a dell studio 17 lappie and papaorder siya kay mom sa Paris. kaya lang we're having second thoughts kase baka hindi ganun katibay ang dell. although yung pinapabili nya is customize na with the specs that he wants.
