for dell systems bought from Accent Micro, you really have to send them in to Accent Micro to be repaired. yes, it usually takes about a month and even more, especially if there are parts to be replaced. one cant just call Dell techsupport or chat with a technician on the dell website because support for dell systems are categorized by company numbers and countries. dell techsupport via chat on support.dell.com are for US consumers only.

yellowtulips, check the details of the service contract your laptop has with accent micro. if you find that they have violated the terms of their contract, then you can either demand a replacement from them or consult a lawyer. unfortunately, hindi ka pwede dumerecho sa dell US techsupport for your problem. irerefer at ire-refer ka pa rin sa accent micro.

im buying my first laptop and i have no idea which to get. programs i mostly use is MS office, Quickbooks, and adobe photoshop. then of course, web browsing. most i do is accounting works (excel & quickbooks), and i have many pictures stored. i want user friendly and sleek-stylish looking.

im apprehensive in getting mini versions because i get the impression na pa-cute lang baka mahirap gamitin para sa work ko.

i hope you can suggest some models to me. budget 30k below. thanks

sis its not advisable to get a netbook to do you work kasi masyado maliit ang display nya.

there are lots of laptops available in the market within your budget range. all you have to do is look around and get the best deal.

the netbook is for travelling purposes and can't use it more than 2hrs. or else your eyes will easily tired.

yup, that's also my reason for avoiding netbooks because i dont travel naman or dont intend to bring my laptop during travel.

well i can't say it's that important. as long as you keep the cooling fan clean and working and your laptop well ventilated you can do without the cooling pad.

ask lang po ako kung lahat po ba ng laptops may lalagyan ng CDs?? anong tawag nga po ba dun?. . . i'm plannin' to buy kasi pero gusto ko yung mura lang at yung may lalagyan ng CD para pede ako manood dun ng DVD. diba pede yun?

^if you get a netbook, you won't have an internal CD drive. you can always buy an external, though.

^yup, kasi hindi siya nagkconsume ng electricity while on hibernate mode.

if you are not to use the laptop for more than 12 hours, better shut it down completely. some apps(and even OSes like XP and Vista) and drivers have trouble recovering from sleep or hibernate mode.

shutting down your laptop, if won't be used for quite a while, can actually benefit your machine more. consumes less power, strains your computer hardware less, and of course, less problems for your apps.

I saw this Gateway LT2003i Netbook at Megamall. I was eyeing for an Asus 1005HE, but this one caught my eye because it's red and it comes with a free Globe Tattoo broadband kit for the same price. I tried to get reviews from the Net, but I cant seem to find any.

Do you think it's better for me to get Asus, or is the Gateway netbook worth a try?

Thanks! we reported it to DTI, after they got the notice of mediation from DTI, voila. ok na daw [textspeak!] laptop. turned out internal problem daw ng accent micro and supplier regarding the warranty, i think. imagine 5 months after before they returned it to us, e di tapos na ang 6-months warranty nila. crappy talaga service nila. btw, motherboard ata [textspeak!] ni-replace nila. thanks again!

mga sis..i just bought asus 1005ha..sa mga may asus po,,may na experience ba kayo umingay yung sa fan sa gilid..yung parang super hinang blower..ganun po kasi sakin..sira po kaya to?or normal lang yun?mga 2 to 3 mins po siya medyo maingay,,tapos nawawala din..

mga sis...me problem lappy ko ayaw lumabas ng mga letra inispreyan kase ng tubig ng anak ko...4 na letra lang naman...binolower ko na at vacuim di parin nalabas yung ibang letra wahhh 

yung pc express ba nagaayos rin sila ng lappy?
