Help!may nafi-flicker kasi na green line sa baba ng lcd ng Compaq CQ40 ko    i dunno if the BIOS has something to do with it napansiin ko lang kasi after upgrading the BIOS ganun na sya tapos biglang tumaas ang CPU temp nya dati around 28 to 32 lang ngayon umaabot na ng 60 plus 

is it possible to rollback my BIOS?if it is, paano ko ba gagawin

i think there's a way to flush the rom bios check ka lang sa internet. but i dont think updating the bios has something to do with the flicker

hi! I need an advice on what laptop to get. I'm on a tight budget, mga 24-26 thousand. Possible kaya yun? I just need a laptop for typing and internet. Preferably sana Core Duo na. tia!

why not get an AMD powered lappy? you'd be able to get one cheaper than core 2 duo. Check Acer or Compaq

AMD produces processors just like intel. Based on experience, i find AMD faster than intel processors especially the 64x2

while intel produces expensive chips, AMD well slightly retained their competitive pricing

^p3t3r na-flush ko na yung BIOS ko tama ka walang kinalaman yung BIOS sa flicker ng LCD ko coincidence lang siguro na lumabas yung flicker nung nag-update ako..i went to the service center kanina thank God meron pala sa Baguio akala ko kailangan ko pang lumuwas ng Manila and they acknowledged the warranty kahit nabili sa Singapore yung laptop ko. papalitan nila ang LCD tawagan na lang daw ako pag meron na yung ipapalit

hi, anyone encountered accent-micro's service regarding repair of dell laptop under warranty? kasi we bought dell from that store, then after 1 month, noticed the LAN is kinda loose and something's wrong with the touchpad. so we immediately brought this to accent micro around last week of february since its still under warranty. they said it will take 3 weeks to 1 month, so ok lang.
but until now [textspeak!] pa din. d pa din daw ayos. we're trying to call them pero [textspeak!] dw status regarding our laptop.  suggestions? what can we do about this? or can you recommend any good service center? thanks!

i think they're the authorized service center for Dell in pinas. Have you checked Dell's website to find out if there are other authorized service center in pinas? bigyan mo sila ng deadline otherwise ask them to replace it with a new one.

^ not yet. i'll check in the website.  we bought it there so we thought the warranty will be valid if they will repair it. anyway, thanks for the suggestion. is it a valid case if i demand for a new one?

yes it is. kasi ang alam ko pag hindi nila na solve yung problem ng laptop within a certain period of time, kelangan palitan nila ito. kasi ang habol ng Dell customer satisfaction eh. pwede ka mag-lodge ng complaint actually sa website ng Dell.

im working in DELL pero wala ako sa Pinas ha... and handling Philippines Distributor. i hope this will help you...

you can find the service tag number under your laptop notebook...

but i think all our technical support are base in Pinas
they are two options via chat and phone for trouble shooting
