sa pagkaka alam ko sis that is room and board plan 1500....

^ Sis tignan mo din yun medicard. Mukhang ok naman kaso di ko lang magets (engers ba?) yun plan plan 500 800 etc. Kasi iba naman nakasulat sa principal member, etc. So it means ba yun for example PLAN 1500 with premiere hospitals if i enroll myself only i will pay 11,887 yearly with limit  of 100,000 for dreaded disease.? ano kaya yun PLAN 1500 (anong 1500?)

Sorry first time ko sa ganito. Dating work ko may sariling hospital kasi, so, wala kaming HMO HMO na direcho na hospital just present employee's ID..

Or if someone here who is knowledgeable about things like this, baka you can help me/us freelancers. Thanks

sorry sa noob na tanong..pero yung HMO ba is the same with Health Insurance?

kung magkaiba, alin yung mas malaki usually ang babayaran at alin yung mas extensive ang coverage? just like some of the GT posters at this thread, freelancer din ako and looking for something that could help us in case of emergency aside from Philhealth. :)

sa mga sis na kinuha ang senior citizen parents nila sa Blue Cross, pa-share naman ng age nila at how much ang monthly/quarterly/annual premium and for what plan? kasi i've been reading here na mataas nga ang premium, pero i have no idea what they mean by "mataas" because that is very subjective. :) so sana may mag-share na lang ng actual amount. :)

also if na-avail niyo na, ok ba ang service and coverage? hindi naman mahirap magpa-approve ng consultations, lab tests, operations, etc? please please, sana may makasagot... :)

I have been using din lately sa medical city no probs din medyo matagal nga lang ng konti approval. Parang gusto ko nga magagent dahil super like ko service nila and i have  been recommending this to my friends and relatives. Yun nga lang pricey talaga siya compared to medicard.  Pero para di mabigat nung nag iffer sila ng equicom credit card 6mos to pay without interest. I disclosed lahat ng preexisting ko.

^in general, no. there are just selected HMOs with an international coverage and plan. like sa Blue Cross, meron silang plan na may international coverage. syempre mas mahal ang premium nun.

Question po,

If, for example, you are single and an illegitimate child, can you put as *dependents* yung biological mother and/or biological father mo? Can it be both of them or just 1 of them since separated sila?

If you put just 1 of them, as *dependent* yung 1 biological parent mo, pwede din ba maging *dependent* mo ang step-parent mo, since legally married sila?

Either, biological father + step mother, or biological mother + step father.

What documents are required pag ganun ang situation? Is it valid for all HMO companies?

^sis agape insurance ba o hmo yang tanong mo? Pag HMO, dependent ang tawag. Pag insurance, beneficiary. Baka malito yung ibang gusto sumagot sa tanong mo :)

^Ah, different meaning pala ang beneficiary and dependent. To me akala ko kasi the same/similar lang silang terms e. I corrected my post to avoid confusion. Thanks!

What are your options to minimize health costs when senior members of the family cannot be covered by HMO cards anymore?
