Then you have a choice if you want to enroll your husband/child.

Ganyan nangyari sa akin, after 2 years ko pa pinaupdate yung status ko as married sa HR namin kasi pag pinaupdate ko na icacancel na HMO ng parents ko e mas kailangan nila yun kasi sakitin.

Pero now no choice pinaupdate ko status ko kasi ang tagal na di pa updated mga docs ko. Kaya I'm looking sa affordable na rates/packages na health card for my parents.

hi po. anung magandang HMO for my parents na over 65 y/o. d n kasi sila pwede n maging dependents ko according to medicard dahil sa age limit.  :(
^blue cross sis. pero pricey pa din kase hindi company package bibigay sayo. individual lang. sila lang nahanap ko na nagcater sa mga over 65 years old e. mom ko din mag65 na next year kaya pag nagbirthday na sya. tanggal na sya hmo ng company

sisses, question regarding PhilHealth coverage pag may HMO..

talagang bang hindi na madeduct sa hospital bill yung PhilHealth pag dependent mo yung nahospitalized? me and my 4 year old son are enrolled as dependent sa company HMO ni hubby. we're using Maxicare. para makaclaim kami ng PhilHealth kailangan mag additional Php 1,800/year kami..

eh di useless narin pala yung married yung status mo PhilHealth. hindi na makaka avail kahit na toddler palang yung anak mo..
^sis tanung lang? kayo po ba ay philhealth dependent ni husband? ikaw at si baby? kase kung hindi kayo declared as dependents sa philhealth. hindi po kayo makakapagavail talaga ng discount from philhealth. puwede niyo magamit ang contributions ni husband as long as enrolled kayo as dependents sa philhealth. parequest mo po si husband ng mdr sa hr. dun niyo macheck kung nakaenroll kayo

sisses help me naman, I'm confused what to choose, nag back read ako it helped me, pero may mga questions pa rin ako.

In particular with my case: Philhealth Member, healthy Single Mom, 28yo, with 1 dependent 6mos old. CS operation last June 2012
My preferences:
1. Covers pedia vaccines
2. Covers pedia consultations
3. Hospital near my place Mandaluyong like TMC & MyHealth Shangri-la Manda (upon checking Maxicare does)
4. Covers dental (includes filling, cleaning unlimited) hehe
5. Derma? (in case lang, not a priority)
6. Emergency cases, accidents etc
7. would like to apply my yaya sa fortune care H.E.L.P
8. covers accidents that when you go abroad if something happened e covered pa rin

Upon back reading since yesterday dito, i have picked:
1. Maxicare - i tried calling their sales but no one answered, i can't open their brochure i don't know what happened to the operating system on my computer I can't open kasi. i tried filling up online but not sure coz
Questions:
a. Should I apply individual or family account since I have 1 dependent my 6mo old daughter
b. Silver Plan or Gold is fine with me as long as it meets my preferences above.
c. ano yung coverage ng wart removal nila neck down or neck up?
d. I chose this because they have MyHealth in Manda and TMC, wala bang excemptions dyan sa care centers na yan? like baka pag punta ko dental lang pala pwede

2. Fortune Care - i browsed their website & checked the accredited provider
Concerns:
a. I saw nearby hospital sa amin which is VRP kaso naman puro INTERNAL MEDICINE lang, ibig sabihin ba nun hindi covered yun preferences ko. Next hospital is TMC kaso puro Internal Medicine CARDIOLOGY & PULMONOLOGY

3. Icare
Concerns:

My kids and I are currently using Intellicare. So far, so good. Hindi super tagal kumuha ng approval for consultations/lab tests, etc over Maxicare...

^ i believe meron. we are all requesting na magkaron ng additional privilege where we could acquire cards for our parents (married employees) at a lower price. kapag kasi married, may hierarchy = dependents are as follows: hubby then kids

Question:

Yung HMO namin sa office is MAXICARE. Yung sa amin is 500,000.00 per annual and yung dependents, 250,000.00 per annual.

Yung sa huband ko naman is Intellicare. 100,000.00 per sickness daw. I am not sure kung same lang din yung for per visit?

Saan sa dalawa mas malaki yugn coverage kapag ganun?

Thanks!

So it means ba yun for example PLAN 1500 with premiere hospitals if i enroll myself only i will pay 11,887 yearly with limit  of 100,000 for dreaded disease.? ano kaya yun PLAN 1500 (anong 1500?)

Sorry first time ko sa ganito. Dating work ko may sariling hospital kasi, so, wala kaming HMO HMO na direcho na hospital just present employee's ID..

Or if someone here who is knowledgeable about things like this, baka you can help me/us freelancers. Thanks
