ahhh,, 1997 yung NOA1 and then 1999 yung approval notice? I remember yung kay hubby (F1 din siya), they got the NOA2 but no available case number yet. that time kasi, hindi pa current yung PD nila sa NVC.
when your PD is about to become current/or is already current, NVC will send you the CHOICE of AGENT packet.

^ thanks for that. actually approval notice on the doc is dated last quarter of 1998 and was sent to the US petitioner address. petitioner sent it to us sometime 1st Q of 1999 through priority mail. tancha ko mga 2nd Q next year pa ang choice of agent packet. do you think we still need to call the NVC? i think no need, tama ba? thanks.

question: may effectivity ba ang petition? let's say current na ang PD and then may mga dapat ka munang i-prioritize which will take a lengthy time, ok lang kaya na huwag muna mag migrate? thanks.

Saka additional question: After the choice of agent packet,next is sending of documents na hinihingi, after that anong step ang susunod na,medyo matagal tagal ba ang waiting bago mabigay visa?

^for every step or process, you'll be given a certain amount of time to respond. usually a few months to a year. nakalagay naman yun sa notice or letter na mare-receive nyo. yung sa kin na-delay ko ng konti pagdating sa pag-send ng civil docs. 8 weeks after sending the docs dumating na yung sa interview appointment, sabi i have one year to reschedule. nung dumating yung visa, 6 months lang valid, i left on the 5th month.

If NVC didn't hear from you for a year from the last communication of your papers they considered it abandon and the petition will be expired. You have to re-submit again, start all over pag nakataon kung ganun...

yep. others opt to do it as soon as their case is complete kasi minsan it delays the process pa if they fail the medical. 
may nakita ako, her case was completed last week of august and ngayon lang siya nakatanggap ng interview for 3rd week of november

^ganun ba sis..  i thought once na receive mo na yung appointment for interview, that's the time na pwede ng magpa medical..  so what do i present if magpapa medical nako? thanks

^nung sa kin i was asked to present my appointment letter, kahit yung copy lang or sa email kasi wala pa by mail, minsan kasi wala talagang dumadating. 6 months lang valid yung medical result so dapat yung sure na may appointment na. i don't think they will let you in w/o the letter. kung may problem naman sa medical, st. luke's na magpapa-resked ng interview. unless may tb, aids, hepa, drug user or na-stroke ka, wala namang problema sa medical. bubukaka ka lang haha.

@ lyn & misao, thank you for the info. maybe, if the PD becomes current, mga 1.5 to 2 years pwede munang isan tabi ang migration. at least, marami pa ring oras tutukan ang ibang bagay. thanks.

Bat ganun, naka add na yung daughter ko as derivative ng husband ko (principal beneficiary) pero di pa nabi-bill yung processing fee na $400? Saka bat di pako naa-add huhuhu.. F3 Category kami.

i've sent letter to NVC informing them of my status, attached to my letter is my son's birth cert. & our marriage cert. now my category is F3. then few weeks later i think i received an acknowledgement letter from the NVC... aside sa akin nag mailed din sila ng letter sa petitioner which is my father tapos doon naka note na F1 to F3 na category ko... mga sissies that means ba kasama na hubby ko and son ko doon sa petition? just wanna make sure lang po...any advise naman po...thanks!

Sis Kuruga, parahas nga tayo ng category. Pero yung hubby ko ang principal beneficiary.
Na-add na anak namin,pero ako as wife hindi pa. Pina escalate na namin sa supervisor ng NVC yung case namin kasi complete naman docs namin pero bat ako wala pa, we think we have to wait for 15 working days for the review to come up. Kaso natatakot ako, baka madeny ako, ohh no,that cant be, valid and legal lahat ng docs namin,we've been married for 9 years-going 10 this march 2011.
Waahh! Praning nako kakaisip, bakit wala pako...
