^im 24 years old...hinahabol nga namin na maisama padin ako kaya kinukumpleto ko requirements...or if ever hindi f2b magiging status ko basta hindi ako mag aasawa...and as of oct i belive 2002 na na pprocess...matagal din pero mas matagal kung magiging f3 ako dahil ngayon 1995 palang na pprocess right...kung maghihintay ako malamang mga 10 years pa yun...i dont intend to get married pa naman not until makaalis ako dito...who would want to live here kung lahat nalang ng relatives ko literally nandun na at ako nalang dito...anong year ba na approve petition niyo?...

meron na akong acct. sa google but problem is i can't make a calls...like for example dial ko yong number of NVC hindi nag wo'work yong call pag click ko, why kaya? pardon my ignorance sis... wala kasi hubby ko dito to help me with this---tia

sis na install mo na ba yung program para makapag voice call ka..i forgot kung saan exactly makikita yun..pero dun yun sa may window ng google wherein makikita mo yung inbox mo..sa may left side yun eh...

i was 9 then...year 1995 approved yun then 1986 ako pinanganak...f3 category kami sis...mom ko talaga nakapetition then kasama buong family namin...kaya nga inaayos ko padin papers ko kasi sila naman may fault kung bakit ako na overage...sabi kasi nung agent namin we could make an appeal or what...basta lets hope nalang if ever tanggap ko nadin naman na mahuhuli ako...medyo matagal pa nga sayo sis...kasi sabi saakin wag daw muna ako mag aasawa para sa category f2b padin ako kasi pag nagpakasal ako magiging f3...f2b sep 2002 na current sa f3 march 1995...laking difference sis...

sis make sure that you have google voice installed.
if youre using google voice call option in your google mail, make sure na naka enable ang outbound voice call
go to SETTINGS -- > CHAT tab
then check mo Enable outbound voice calling with Google Voice. .

Hi sis, my Parents Priority dates are on March 23, 2010. Yun ang nakasulat sa NOA2 (Approval Letter) nila. The Category is IR-5.

Also called NVC and they told me not to notarized the I-864 na. Yung old version ng Form I-864 lang yung kailangan e-notarized at it's been 3 years na daw.

ideally, how many months before i get to inquire the case number? priority date is december 1997, F1. i don't wanna get caught flat-footed just because we have other major priorities. i will not like it if it's moving way toooo fast or too slow.  thanks.

sis magic dragon, so you havent received NOA2 yet?
once USCIS approves your petition, they will forward your case to NVC. mine took about 2 weeks from USCIS approval till NVC generated the case number.

nag sshare lang din ako ng experience. forums helped me a lot when we were just starting with our process. tsaka wala akong libangan dito sa office. LOL

You're right septembernine,laking tulong talaga ng mga forums..how i wish nabasa ko na tong mga forums na to at nakita ko na yung mga advices ng ibang mga sis para hindi na kumuha ng service ng atty si hubby...
share ko lang yung sa case namin,kasi according dun sa AVR ng nvc na-mail na daw yung AOS at IV fee bill namin last sept.17 pa dun sa atty but until now wala pa din daw siya narereceive...hirap naman maka connect sa live operator ng nvc kaya nag email na lang din ako sa kanila,hopefully by next week may reply na nvc..haayyyy...well,sabi nga nila patience is a virtue...give me more patience...hehe

^ i hope you don't mind: what does NOA2 say? on the NOA, it says all the details like the receipt#/date, priority date, notice date, case type etc...

and on the mid-portion, The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Dept of State National Visa Center (NVC)....approved petition to that consulate.

The NVC will contact the person for whom...visa processing steps.

This form is not a visa...   

is this diff from NOA2?

^@magic dragon, yup that's the NOA 2. Approve na petition mo. Wait ka nalang sa NVC to give a case #. You can call them to get your case # after a week or two.

When I received my NOA2 after 8 days NVC emailed me our Case#.

sis akala ko din ganun ka complicated yung case namin kasi actually ako pa lang yung naka-file sa case and yung mga kids namin yun yung additional derivatives na sinasabi...we thought ganun nga ka-complex yung case  but after reading some forums about visa processing hindi naman pala ganun kakomplikado...hindi pa kasi kami familiar sa pasikot-sikot sa visa processing kaya kumuha ng atty si hubby na ni-refer din ng dad nya...
anyway,sana nga maka connect si hubby sa live operator ng nvc para malaman na talaga namin bakit nadedelay yung samin...

@ lyn, thank you for that info. pero na curious ako, ano ang NOA 1? kasi only 2 kinds were sent to us, the I-130 application together with the resibo ng payment, which was filed on Oct 1997, & the NOA. so meaning what i have is NOA 2. so anytime pwede ko na pala call ang NVC for the case#?

NOA1 is yung Receipt notice from USCIS. as what sis lyn said, NOA2 is the approval notice.
when did you receive it pala sis?

the doc that says "The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Dept of State National Visa Center (NVC)...blah, blah...approved petition to that consulate." : twas sent to us sometime 1st quarter of 1999.

do you think may nami-miss na kami sa process? thanks.
