^^assuming all documents are complete and accurate.. it will take more or less 1 month to be 'case complete' ..yes sis.. under F2a kami..

sa amin kasi, ang tagal ng nai-submit ang ds 230.. yung I-864 natagalan kasi busy si hubby..wala siya time para basahin yun instructions.. sabay pagka submit niya..may mga missing docs pa.. kaya netong last week of august lang namin nai-submit lahat lahat.. and sept 21 kami na 'case complete' . if na submit lang sana ng maaga lahat..baka nakaalis na kami..

sis cherry*coke na RFE kayo? kami were just waiting na mag change ng status ang IV bill then send na namin ang ds230 and civil docs. hubby already sent AOS. sana walang RFE

^yep sis.. twice kami na RFE.. una sa picture kasi walang pangalan and case number sa likod.. second yung sa i-864 kasi hindi na submit yung proof of citizenship ng co-sponsor.

hi.. i've been USC for 3 years na.. ayaw dati magpatetion ng mother ko kase ayaw daw nya dito sa US.. pero last time nagkausap kami, gusto na daw nya.. reason is i have a sister pa sa phils na over 21 pero single na gusto makapunta dito.. bale si mom ko na magpe petition sa kanya pag immigrant na sya..mas madali yun di ba??

gaano katagal ba ang intayin bago ma-apporve yun kung i-submit pa lang ang I-130 application this oct/nov 2010?.. kelangan pa ni mother kumuha ng brith cert nya kase pati birth cert ko..tia!!

baby michael, why not petition your sister directly na lang. Baka halos same time lang ang aabutin coz your mom has to be a resident for 5 yrs before she gets her citizenship and then saka pa lang nya puede ipetition ang sister mo, right?

^ hindi ba pwede mag petition ang immigrant ng child na over 21 na single.. pag petition ko sya as sibling ko aabutin pa yata ng 20+ years daw.

i agree with grumpybear, i think more or less ganun din aabutin.. your mom has to be a citizen first to petition a child over 21..sa current vb ngayon, if over 21, halos 13 yrs. plus 5 years residency ng mom mo.

can't a permanent resident petition an unmarried child over 21? if i petition my mom first as permanent resident then she then petitions my sister when she gets here sa US..

baby michael - kung walang prob sa docs, within one year lang nandyan na mother mo. ganun kasi case ng mom ko. sa sister mo naman, pwede syang ipetition ng mom mo under f2b - unmarried daughter (over 21) of permanent resident, ganito naman case ko, inabot ng 7 years. pero mas mabilis na naman ngayon. check mo na lang visa bulletin (travel.state.gov) and processing times (egov.uscis.gov).

add ko na rin, kausapin nyo na lang ng mabuti yung sister mo not to get married. just tell her makukuha naman nya agad kung may bf o engaged na sya by that time. kasi if she gets married, magpapalit sya ng category. pag married na, kailangan citizen ang magpetition.
para mas madaling tandaan:
*permanent residents can petition the spouse and children (any age, single)
*citizens can petition the parents, siblings, spouse and children (any age or status), fiance and dependent children (buong barangay na to hehe)
