We just received an email from NVC,
giving us some directions and informing us of our case number already..!
It includes the notice of the amount you have to pay for the affidavit
of support, and once payment has been made, the processing would start...

Wow... its starting to pick up pace,...

Meron kasi akong nabasang forum PD 2005 nakakarecieve na rin ng packet.

this link is informative. katuwa yung thread starter. he's f2b and pd nga niya is 2005. he wasn't sure bakit nagkaroon na siya ng mga notices noong start of 2010 maski yung bulletin at that time ay siguro nakalagay ay 1998. tapos you'll notice towards the end of the thread, aalis na siya ng august. siguro nga naka-alis na siya. very hopeful tuloy kami ng sis ko. pinaaasikaso ko na sa kanya yung ds230 niya...hahaha...f2b siya pd 2007, just like you sis penelope.

Sana nga mabilis nalang manganganak kasi ako this Sep. 24 dapat makasama ko si baby before she reached 2 yrs old. para automatic immigrant agad.

Hello! Has anyone adjusted their status (or looked into it) from an H1b to permanent resident?  I got married a few months back and my husband (US Citizen)and I were thinking whether to apply for a change of status now or wait til after 2 years we're married.  I did some reading online and it was mentioned that if the marriage is more than 2 years old one's granted a 10 year permanent resident status vs. a 'conditional' PR.
Any thoughts?  The entire process seems expensive too.  Ouch

I adjusted from F1 (student) to resident.
If your H1B is valid pa naman for 2 years,  wait ka na lang para hindi doble doble ang bayad.

Hi sis,
F2A din ako. Pero nsa processing na ng DS-230 waiting na lang ako ng renewal ng passport then pass na ng requirements..


As for payment n I-130, my husband paid through check kasama sa mail but not at NVC kundi sa  U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

kasi sis may mga nakikita ako sa ibang forum na 2007 ang PD tapos na sila.. kaya i assumed mejo na delay ang processing mo

ah...minsan ata depende sa service center saka LPR siya nang i file niya to. db usually 4-5 years ang processing? buti na lang bumilis na ngayon. bale dumating lang ang notice sa asawa ko this july...sayang nga e madelay pa kasi di ko agad naasikaso yung passport namin.
