hello mga sisters.ask ko lang if may idea kayo kung halimbawa,nabigyan na kami ng visa after ng interview,kung gaano pa katagal kami pwedeng magstay dito sa pinas?

gudday.. ask ko lang [textspeak!] pwede naming gawin ng cuz ko.. d ko kasi agad nalaman ang cspa.. so nangyari nung nalaman namin cinompute ko ang age ko sa cspa, lumalabas na 18years old palang ako.. im 26years old now.. naging current ang petition namin (f4 category) nung june8, 2009.. kala namin di nakami makakasama so ang nangyari nagasikaso ang parents ko ng di na kami kasama.. last june nakakuha na sila ng visa.. date naging current ang petition: june 8, 2009

so lumalabas na 25 nako nung naging current ang petition namin pero naging pending sya for 7years.. backlog nya is 7years so sabi nila idededuct daw un sa age ko..

 has anyone tried to petition their siblings? I've checked the latest visa bulletin and its has 20 year backlog for that category but when I checked the previous visa bulletin, it seems that category is moving 1 year every month.

@baby_maryen - try mo na din kung magpepetition ka. yup, mabilis nga pero there's still no guarantee na every mo. ganon ang jump ng visa bulletin PDs. pwede rin kasi magslow down or worst retrogress (sana naman wag).

I'm not sure bout this one. more than a year na kasi yun so baka hindi na rin pwede. Ask for legal advice kasi mas matutulungan ka nila bout your case. Are you sure ganun katagal na pending ang case nyo? kasi sa pagkakaalam ko Max. of 4 years lang napepending yung case.

my mom is leaving for the US this october, does she need to attend the pre departure seminar by the dfa? she would be migrating to the US.
may naka attend na ba nun? paano kayo kumuha ng appointment? tia.

Hi sis, am under F3 category and 1998 priority date. I really thought sis forever pa mag move ang priority dates, hoping talaga na mapadali na. I've been waiting for 12 years na kasi, from F1 pina convert ko sa F3 when i got married para isa lang petition namin. How about you sis?

Wow, sayo sis malapit na rin? may i ask you if your bro in law sabay aalis with the family? kasi i heard advantage of converting petitions to F3 from F1 is makakasama agad ang family na kasali sa petition, and sa processing fee rin daw isa lang ang babayaran? Thanks for the info.sis.

ang alam ko din sabay na ang family. but they decided na maiiwan muna si wifey. susunod na lang when he's settled na and everything.

Hi sis, US citizen ba husband mo? If so pwede niyang i petition una yong anak niyo and then he can file a K visa for you as fiancee. Kasi pag dito kayo ikakasal matagal ka talagang makukuha. Short na ang 3 years.

september priority date is out! my PD is 2009, under F2B! it's really fast approaching but i am thinking how things would work out between me and my long time better half..we have plans to settle down when i get to US, problem is, it states in some immigration site that:

 "it is possible to adjust status from a travel visa, but people in this scenario were able to prove that they came to the U.S. with honest travel intentions and happened to make a spur-of-the-moment decision to get married."

since there is an intention for us to get married.. it means we can get married, he will go back home, then i have to file for his fiance visa right? how can that be if only US citizens can file for that.. and it will take 4-5 years (if im not mistaken) to change status from immigrant to US citizen right.. correct me if im wrong.. of course we dont want to try illegal options there but i dont want to be away from him that long.. do you know any ways on how to go about this? thanks guys!
