hi sisses.. my son and I had our interview last april5, (K visa) the consul said she will approve our visa as soon as she receives my NBI clearance under married name (di kasi ako kumuha nito agad) then, nitong april 15 lang namin nasubmit...

Sino ang may ganitong case din, yung submission of additional docs? mga ilang days/weeks after submitting your document natanggap nyo yung visa nyo?

hello mga sis.. just to update everyone nasa US na kmi ng son ko. One sis said na i-follow up ng hubby ko yung status ng visa. and that same day na nag fax sya sa US embassy ng follow up letter eh pina-print agad ng consul yung visa namin. april 23 nagfollow up si hubby april 23 din pinrint ang visa, april 27 nasa amin na then nag fly na kmi ng May13. thanks for the suggestion.

^congrats! nandito ka na pala. haha so effective pala talaga yung pag-follow up. so sa ibang sis natin dyan na hindi agad dumating yung visa o pag may hiningi pang requirements sa embassy, i think $18 lang naman yung call, i-follow up nyo agad.

mga sis pa help naman, i am an immigrant here in the us my problem is this i have two kids but they have different last names but they have the same father yung panganay sa fam name ko yung second naman sa bf ko ang last name.when we had our first child kasi sa akin na lang pinasunod yung last name but nung nasundan na nag insist na bf ko na dapat apelyido na nya ang gagamitin ng bata..do you think mag kaka problem ako sa processing? and which do you think is better? uuwi ba ako sa pinas para pakasalan ko bf ko o do i have to wait for a couple more years say like 3 years for me to be a citizen and petition him as a fiance and get married here?badly needed help nyo....please...

Mga sisters,pls. help naman! yung petition namin ng daughter ko was filed separately pala.dumating yung Choice of Agent namin in separate envelopes pero laging sabay.question lang po.since yung daughter ko minor,paano yung sa signature ng applicant?pano ko iindicate?and pede kaya pagsamahin ko yung Choice of Agent namin sa iisang envelope lang?please help! thanks!

I work in Dubai, U.A.E. for 7 months only (April to Nov 2006)
April - Sept I'm working even if I just have tourist visa (5 months)
Sept - Nov The same company issued a working permit for me, and a residence visa (2 months)

In Dubai they will just issue a police clearance if you have a residence visa for 6 months above only

When I fill up the G-325A
*Applicant's employment last five years* I put April 2006 to Nov 2006
*Applicant's residence last five years* I just put my present address, I didn't put my address in Dubai because I really don't know...



My problem is
What if the NVC ask me to get a police clearance from Dubai? They will not issue a police clearance for me because my residence visa is only 2 months.

In form DS-230 the same question will be ask again
(Applicant's employment last five years and Applicant's residence last five years)

Guys, will I just write the same answer that I wrote in form G-325A or I need to put in Applicant's Residence last five years: U.A.E. April 2006 to Nov 2006...

or maybe NVC will not ask me to get a police clearance from Dubai because I'm in a F2a category ( F category needs police clearance if your residency is 1 year above)

hello sis, well it might take 10 years now but it's worth the wait, if your mom will petition you don't let her naturalize for US citizenship, kasi if she will the longer your wait sa petition mo. This is my case now, my father naturalizes for US citizenship, knowing na mapadali ang processing ko, but unfortunately here in the Phils. only na matagal ang processing ng petitions filed by US Citizens than by LPR/Immigrant. The disadvantage also if your petition is filed by an immigrant, you really can't get married cause once you will then invalid na petition mo. But it's better na may hinihintay ka talagang petition never mind how long you will wait.

sis mga 10 to 12 years ka mag antay ng petetion mo pero be sure na wag ka muna magpapakasal..
siguro sa ngayon mabilis na,di katulad ng sa akin 12 years ako nag antay..

sa case nung isang cousin ko, f2b, yung parents nya nakapunta sa u.s. around 2002. just last month dumating yung choice of agent form nya. so susunod na dun yung affidavit of support, etc. so hopefully this year nandito na sya.

yung kapatid nyang nagpakasal, no choice yung parents but to apply for citizenship para makuha sya. sabi it will take another 6-10 years.

now for our case, yung mom ko lpr and petitioned my unmarried sis under f2b. we are at a point where we're thinking of maybe applying citizenship for my mom. for those whose parents are US citizens, meron bang significant benefits when they became one? my mom's turning 65. for her sake, makakabuti ba ang maging citizen o wala ring difference sa current lpr status niya?

^sa case ko, nag-opt out yung petitioner ko na mabago yung petition ko nung naging usc sya. yung lawyer nagayos so baka alam nung lawyer na mas mabilis if i remain under the f2b category. i also checked https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplay.do?type=serviceCenter
mas mabilis ng 2 years sa lpr kesa sa usc. pero current na yung f2b ko after 7 years of waiting. pero hindi ko nagamit yung f2b ko, cspa kasi sa kin ko medyo complicated.

visa fee for each applicant. bale 800 dollars babayaran niyo..pag nag log in ka online makikita mo dun yun amount that you need to pay.

Sis, same process din kung paano ninyo binyaran yung AOS fee bill na
$70... so online nyo din babayaran yung $400 dollars, same way... same site.

Total: $800.00
