my category is f2a sis but im a daughter. na approved yung sa akin after 2 yrs sa filling date. then after 4-5yrs waiting time till naging current yung visa and off to US na.

Hi I'm about ready to submit my parents petition but I have some questions, Please help.

1.) When you petition your parents, aside from FORM I-130 do you include Form G-325A for each of your parents and yourself or not?
2.) Am I right to understand that you don't file the FORM I-485 (AOS) with the fee of $1050 each together with their I-130 since they are not currently inside US? You only file these if they already in US, right? The DS-3032 & AOS fees for them is $70 each and not the $1050 each if they are currently residing in their own country, right?
3.) Am I also right to understand that the order of the process in petitioning your parents is this:
a. File I-130 together with $355 fees each
b. NVC case will be assigned then afterwards when it's approved.
c. Mail DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) and Pay $70 each for AOS
d. Mail I-864 Affidavit of Support (Need clarification: Do I need to mail this together with the DS 3032 or separate? Wait till I get to pay AOS and the IV fee Bill?)
e. IV fee Bill generated and then paid $400 each
f. Mail DS 230
g. And so if you try to Log In and you can't, that means USCIS/NVC is doing a final review of your case?
h. Case Complete
i. Medical then Interview
j. Visa granted yey!

4.) Oh, and regarding the DS-3032(Choice of Agent) and I-864 (affidavit of support), do I submit one of each for my parents? Or is one DS 3032 and I-864 covers for the both of them?

--Any permanent resident can file a petition for the following
relatives:
• Husband/wife; and
• Unmarried child(ren), regardless of age..

i think US citizen lang ang pwede makapetition sa married children. and it could take 20years of waiting before maging current yung category. i got this from this site sis. hope it can help you..

is it possible to delay the petition? coz right now there's already a notification for the affidavit of support to my aunt. Is there a deadline to submit and pay for it?

^I'm looking at mine right now (dated Jan.2009, July-I got my visa) and I don't see any deadline. Yung sa kin nadelay ko ng konti kasi kulang pa sa documents. Once kasi complete na requirements mo and na-submit mo na, ang bilis eh.

ah ok, coz we're not ready to leave this year if ever man ma grant yung visa. didn't expect kasi. but if ever, mas better b na pay na kmi for the Affidavit of Support tapos i-delay nlng nmin yung submission of documents or better not to pay na muna?

^hmm maybe it's ok to pay for the aos para kung matabunan man yung case nyo, may proof kayo na bayad na kayo so wala na silang magagawa. yung documents pwedeng ma-delay. kasi once they receive those, you'll get your appointment for interview after 8 weeks. kung walang problem sa medical (valid for 6 mos only), tuloy na yung interview. alam ko yung interview pwedeng i-reschedule anytime within 12 months. kaya lang if ever something happens to your petitioner, baka di kayo mabigyan ng visa. the visa is valid for 6 months only. hth.

ako nga since november 2009 paid na aos and submitted na rin mga documents and Form DS-230 Part-1 may attorney pa yung petitioner namin but up to now wala pa yung notice of interview.  mas lalo atang delay  kung may attorney pa eh... Lol    tumatawag din ako NVC pero ang hirap tumawag.  try ko rin mag-email as of now hindi pa nasagot...  well.. sinabihan kami ng attorney na antay-antayin lang daw delay lang kasi marami daw pinoproceso NVC. (ganun?)   anyways, sana yung pag-aantay namin for the interview and medical eh wag naman sanang tumagal pa ng up to one year pa.   My category is F2b, priority date is January 26, 1998

thanks mga sis sa mga post nyo dito sa thread dami kong natutunan..... by the way, nag-response na NVC through my email.. right... may mga mali sa pagfilled-up ng AOS na na-submit and yet may mga kulang pang documents na hindi naka-attach.. need to submit na or else ma-expire na visa.    im thinking na kumuha ako ng immigration lawyer dito sa manila, hindi ako bilib sa na-hire na attorney ng nanay ko.  palpak.

^no prob sis! don't worry hindi pa mae-expire visa mo unless nasa passport mo na (valid for 6 months). no need for a lawyer dito sa manila, most of our sisses here nakakuha ng visa without a lawyer's help, unless complicated yung case mo. sa case ko kasi cspa so kailangan ng lawyer sa US. bale yun lang naging silbi nya, lahat naman ng na-send kong docs walang problema (docs--i think na-discuss na to sa previous pages). ako na lang mismo nagpatagal hehe. check mo rin ibang forums like visajourney & pex. ganun ginawa ko dati. tsaka magtanong ka lang dito. good luck!

for the choice of agent, is it better na yung aunt ko sa US or kami nalang dto sa manila?

btw, how do you compute for the CSPA because overage na kmi ng kapatid ko.
