@kalaiyaan: my sister is also the same category, F2B, her petition is also approved na with MNLxxxx na rin..but my post is for F2A category sis..and F2B category is really a long wait..if you will look at the visa bulletin for October2009, NVC is processing 01May1998 Priority dates..if you really want to pursue the petition, I advice you not to get married yet.

Hi Cha cha
if your sis case was filed at CSC
I think ito ang current processing time nila, lumalabas yan when you input the receipt number from (NOA2)

May 01, 2002 is the current processing date

Additional info: Repetition lang ako ng parents ko kasi na over age ako from the previous petition.

parang sabay sabay ata naglalabas ang approval ng mga f2b filed 2007.

another question, kasi nagugulahan ako sa priority dates.. nifofollow pa rin ba un? kasi sa mga post dito ng mga me successful petition parang nakukuha nila ang visa nila in 7-8 months after mareceive ang docs with MNLXXXX case number.

@ Penelope, hi... i also wonder if we really have to wait for the PD to be current. meron kasing case na sinabi ang utol ko. Yung friend nya na F2B tapos 2005 ang PD nabigyan na ng visa at 2008 naka punta na ng california.
Then nag research ako kung ano ang priority date nung 2008. nawindang ako sa nakita ko.

initially kasi nagbabase ako sa priority date posted sa official website nila kaya nga nun nabasa ko un iba dito na parang ang bibilis napaisip talaga ako. Timing pa na nakausap ko mom ko na sabi magantay ako ng documents from NVC within 90 days daw... nasabi ko rin sa kaya un time frame ng iba sisses dito at sabi nya kun ganon daw ngayon ay d malayong next year e susunod na ako sa kanya (sana, sana talaga!)

Kalaiyaan i also received a letter stating the same thing. but i really don't know what to expect. My priority date is March 2007 but i'm under F2A category. My husband's only a permanent resident that's why matagal.

meron akong mga nabasa wait pa ng 2 months ( 8-10 weeks) then they will send you na a letter para sa medical and interview pero as always depende parati yun minsan iba iba parin ang time line...yung iba they are calling the national Visa center...that's what i am going to do ( pwede naman tawagan using magic jack para free =) ..malalaman daw agad yung date kung me sked na ...i hope this helps.

OO NGA SIS E, MY HUBBY FILED FOR ME JUNE 2007 UNDER F2A CATEGORY AND NAKATANGGAP DIN SYA NG APPROVAL NOTICE LAST JULY. IBIG BANG SABIHIN NUN, WITHIN 3 MONTHS MAKAKATANGGAP NA RIN BA KAMI NG SUSUNOD NA STEP? MAS MADALI NA BA TALAGA NGAYON? THANKS!
