yup, i have read somewhere din, i just dont know if sa Immigration website or other forum, na after submission ng mga DS230 and requirements, NVC allows 8-10weeks review on the documents..so more or less, within that period of time..and nangyari naman sya sa case ko..

IR1 category ako...visa in hand na ako and waiting ko na lang hubby ko para sunduin ako.pag nasubmit mo na choice of agent mo,madali na lang un.after magbayad hubby mo for ur visa which is $400 may darating saung packet (DS230 form) through snail mail kung di online nagbayad hubby mo.and bayaran nya na rin AOS fee and ipasa na rin niya AOS before u send DS230 para once narecieve ng nvc DS230 mo complete docs na.case ko kc online nagbabayad hubby ko kaya I downloaded form DS230 online ..mga 2-4 weeks waiting for approval of ur case sa nvc bgo send sa manila US embassy.

sis, thanks for the inputs...on line din talaga nagbabayad si hubby kase mas mabilis, by the way, if it's ok w/you baka you can share the timeline para may idea ako gaano kabilis or katagal pa ipagiintay ko...grabe,inip na ako,hehe

sis cenxa na di ko na maremember timeline ko eh,hehe..hubby ko lang kc recieved notification minsan col na lang sya nvc..base ko lang mga dates sa receipt and email dates...basta madali na lang sau months na lang waiting mo...

case ko kc ganito sis....Dec.23,2008 received ko from nvc choice of agent form...den send back ko them dec.29.nareceived ng nvc mga 2nd week na ng Jan2009 though EMS ko send...i dunno kung kelan may dumating notification kay hubby for the visa and AOS payment...(dito umbot ng months bago npadala DS230 kc di namin alam na online pla kukunin forms...kala namin may darating packet thru snail mail,naghihintay lang pla kami sa wala, .. April 23,2009 send back the forms...MAY 8,2009 thru email missing docs dw kahit ok na enclosed docs sa DS230,grabeh!kaya pla missing docs di pa napadala hubby ko proof of evidence nya..nauna pa ako, !!kya natagalan ulet di na naman maharap send sa nvc AOS nya.July 10,2009 thru email ulet sked na interview ko.my interview sked last aug.20,2009..thank GOD bait ng consul napunta saken(window 44),hehe...and super gwapo:)...kahit pre interview sa filipino(winsow 19) bait napunta sken..he asked only 6 questions and kinuha nya na mga pics,letters,remittances...

kaya sau sis dapat sabihin mo kay hubby mo asikasuhin agad para di ka magaya saken from choice of agent to interview sked..umbot ng 7 mos..dpat less than 7 mos lang un ...kaya natagalan saken...

hello everyone! hi,i'm new here.i'd like to know some things.here's the situation : my hubby (he's in Arizona) filed our I-130 last feb 2008.he's a lawful permanent resident and has been living there for more than 5 yrs.i don't think he'll be granted citizenship since he was charged with DUI.so palagay nyo mga kapatid? kelan kya maa-prove [textspeak!] petion namin?pls help!

municat: ako pareho pala tayo july na-approve kaya lang sa amin upgrade so kaylangan mgfile ulet seperate petition for my son kaya ngayon medio hinohold namin pagpapass ng requirements para magkasabay sa nvc yun sa amin ng anak ko nasa aos package nadin kami..nareceive mo na ba ds 3032 mo?..kc yun samin asawa kopalang nakareceive together with invoice number para sa aos pero yung para sakin wala padin..madali nalang daw kc process kapag na case complete na kc wala ng priority date na aantayin..kaya kami hinay hinay lang kasi wait pa namin approval nun sa 4 yr old son ko..

both my hubby & i already received the choice of agent forms, nagbayad na din ng $70 si hubby online, i'll send the signed choice of agent forms kay hubby by monday,yung choice of agent form for me & my daughter (siguro naman it's automatic that I as the mother will sign in my toddler's behalf)via fedex para mabilis then forward na nya yon sa nvc, hopefully matapos na agad kase kakainip mag intay:(

i'm hoping it's the same for my sister's case pero f2b naman siya. halos pareho tayo ng timeline. my mom filed july yata of 2007 and she got approval just a few weeks ago. i'm using sis chacha's timeline. sana pareho maski iba ang category ng visa petition nila.

i read the entire thread... ang haba! pero nakakatuwa kasi talagang informative..anyways.. mayroon lang po ako gusto iconfirm..although nabasa ko sya..gusto lang po na sure talaga ang pakakaintindi ko (hindi nman masama diba? )

sa process na po ito:
3. NOTICE OF ACTION 2 (NOA2) - Notice if the petition filed is approved or not. Length of time you'll receive this may vary from 2 - 8 months, depends on the Service Center

4. CASE NUMBER - If you're here in the Philippines, this will start with MNL200xxxxxxx. NVC assigns this.

ang gusto ko po incofirm is kung un matatangap po dito sa manila ay documents na meron case number na MNLXXXXX na po? yan na po ba kagad talaga? plus un mga dapat i-fill up?

seperate petition for our daughter, US Citizen na si hubby when he filed for our petition, mas mabilis daw kase when we computed the time line kesa lpr then upgrade yung petition once mag US Citizen na...

sa case ng mom ko, andito sya sa US, she received an email from USCIS that an approval letter is on our way. tapos a few days lang meron nga na dumating and dito nakalagay yung MNL... yung sis ko sa pinas, walang natanggap. pero according doon sa letter meron marereceive yung sis ko, i think this is yung Choice of Agent na letter. If within 90 days upon receipt ng approval letter at di pa dumarating yung Choice of Agent letter, pwede na raw kami tumawag at mag-follow up sa kanila.

I also have question regarding the processing time of my petition:
PD : March 2007
March 2007     : F2B filed in California
July 21 2009   : Approval notice sent in US (I think this is what they called NOA 2 I-797)
August 10 2007: Received a letter in the Philippines with Reference: NVC Case Number MNL2009XXXXXX.
Saying that: The enclosed info. pertains to your interest in immigrating....
Unfortunately, visa nos. are not presently available for your use. You will be notified when further consideration can be given to processing your application.....
You are cautioned that you must not make any firm plans.....

Has anyone received this kind of letter?
 
i just read on "cha-cha's" post that after receiving  NVC case No. MNL2009XXXXXX next is the DS-3032 which in her case is after 3mons. It gave me hope that my waiting time might be the same with her.

I just wonder why my case seem to be faster than others? i just worry that im just assuming its faster, because i also have friends which PD is 2003 that haven't received any update from NVC yet.

Is there anyone here same  as my reference (F2B) which given visa before the priority dates occur?

Because my mom insist that its really faster now and i have to wait for my visa and not to get married.

If someone experienced same as mine just inform me about your processing time it would help a lot in my decision making.

my sister's case is the same as yours. f2b rin. filed in 2007, got the approval aug. 2009. we didn't receive a letter stating no available visa though.
