right now hapon na ako nag jujump rope kasi mas mainit sa hapon so sumasabay ako sa init para mabilis ako pag papawisan..sa gabi kasi napapansin ko na it will took me 150 jumps in order to start sweating..
Whether you sweat or not does NOT make a difference in the rate of fat loss. That's why I prefer jumping at night, ayokong pinapawisan. ;)

^ I just bought mine sa Toby's Sports.
Current weight: 55-56 kgs
Target: kahit 53-54 kgs lang muna hehe in 3 weeks.
Kahit yung sa belly fats na lang sana muna :D
Belly fats are usually the last to go, and have to be coupled with a diet low in refined carbs for best results. :)

Aw ganun pala yun. Thanks for the info sis V. Grabe sobrang init na nga ngayon.

Same as miming...I jump rope at night after dinner, take a shower kaagad (never suffered from "pasma"), and sleep.

Just as long as it doesn't compromise your sleep, it's ok. :) Iba-iba rin kasi ang tao.

nung unang beses ko ginawa ito, yung super commited ako (year 2006 ) siguro nag lose ako ng 10 to 15 lbs. may kasamang lifting of weights at abs & leg exercise yun.  hindi kasi ako nag titimbang noon pero napansin ko na wala na akong love handles at yung sa may inner thigh ko when im wearing a pants eh lumawag din.  saka marami din nakapansin sa akin na pumapayat daw ako.  3 to 4 weeks pa lang akong nag jujumrope nun. at syempre with matching diet.  1/2 cup rice lang ako during lunch then crackers pag merienda then 1 pouch of noodles or 1 sandwich pag dinner then pahinga kaunti then jump rope.

Ako, from 130 lbs to 103, even with three full meals a day. :) Pero ang pangit ko when I was 103, kaya maintain na lang sa 105.

wow sis!  laki din ng nalose mo ah.. ako bakit ganun? 147 ako,, then i jump rope everyday, with jogging nadin,, pero parang hndi ako nagllose ng weight.. napansin ko yung legs ko, nagkakamuscles na (w/c i like).. is it possible na kaya hndi gumagaan yung timbang ko because nag-ggain ako ng muscles? and muscles are heavier than fats dba?

^ Because I was at it for 2 years. :) Tuloy-tuloy lang 'yan talaga. But even I didn't go every day...4x a week lang.

Yes, that's right. Muscle tissue is denser than fat tissue. Muscles will usually develop first before fat starts to burn off. But as far as fat-burning exercises go, jump rope is really the most convenient and quickest way to go.

yun nga..kaya hndi gumagaan yung timbang ko bec of muscles developing.. so i will just continue doing jump rope and eventually I will lose some unwanted fats and lose weight na din..  ;)

I lost over 20 lbs doing only jump rope for over 2 years. But I got bored and also plateaued because of the monotony. I'm now doing some running, but I also did kickboxing and badminton before I got my arm injuries.

hello..I am a newbie here.. :D

I've been doing jump rope for three years now and I can say na hnd sya nakakalaki ng calf muscles..mgging firm lang sya..and nakakabawas ng fats not only sa legs but also in the abs pati na rin sa arms actually I have two abs na.. :D and I am so happy kasi eto lang [textspeak!] form ng exercise na pwede kong gawin..indoors lang but still super enough sya:D
Sometimes up to two hours ako nagjump rope with music and happy thoughts and of course may intervals..oh BTW I am using speed rope from Toby's

same tayo, nag iisip ako ng happy thoughts kasi super hirap talaga mag jump rope pag sa simula..inaantay ko na lang ulit masanay para sisiw na sa akin apg jump rope..
