^^ Yes, it's really going to hurt when you start, but with proper rest and regularity, you'll get used to it. :D

^ Buy a sports bra.

Maybe my calves did get more developed since I started working out with a jump rope, but I think they look nice anyway. :) It's still the quickest, most affordable fat buster out there.

^ Maybe it's in the way you spin the rope, do you pivot from the shoulders? The spinning should be done by the wrists, if done properly. I myself pivot from the elbows, but I haven't had any shoulder pains.

this was effective to me..jump rope for 500 jumps..50 jumps with 1 min interval then afterwards i do some lifting..then some ab execise and the last part is the leg exercise..results in 3 weeks, yung pants ko lumawag yung sa my thigh area then ive lost 1o lbs..and of course with diet na din toh..since late ako magisng halos lunch na ako magising  ;D 1/2 cup rice and ulam lang ako then by merienda time crackers then dinner 1 pocuh of noodles or sandwich..

:) I started out with 600 a day, with 1 minute rest naman for every 100 skips. Now, I do 3,000 (resting every 600).

When I stopped jumping rope for one month, it took me a week or two before I could get back my previous conditioning.

ako isang dakilang tamad pagdating sa pagwoworkout, pero one day i felt like i really need to lose weight. so i decided to go into running, kaya lang weekends lang ang free time ko, kulang un db. so nagbrowse ako ng mga pwedeng gawin na nasa bahay lang, and i came across this thread. naengganyo ako by the testimonials.
I bought my rubber jumping rope sa Japan88 sa edsa central mall sa crossing, P88 lang..:)
I've been jumping ropes mga 2 weeks na. at first 3 sets, ng 50 jumps lang ang kaya ko, with 1 minute interval un. then nagmove ako to 200jumps, then 300jumps. now kaya ko na ng 5 sets ng 100jumps. with 30seconds interval.
I still cant see the results, but i feel lighter and stronger. :D

is this really true or is it just a myth? i like to jump rope din. i stopped going to the gym for a month now and napabayaan na rin ang diet. :( now i want to get back on track na din, but since busy ako i want an effective exercise routine na magagawa sa bahay lang. i think jump rope is the best for me. i can really feel my heart pumping whenever i do this seriously.

BUT.. are there any cons to jumping rope? like this one nga na malalaglag ang uterus? also, makes your breasts sag?! etc.? nakakatakot naman. to our sisses who know better here, please educate us. :D

^ I've been jumping rope practically every day for the last three years. I've never had a jump rope-related injury, and I tend to do it pretty intensely. I've never had to go to any doctor. My breasts and uterus are still in place, thank you. My legs are not bulky at all; they're still slim. It's helped my arms (the area where my fat most stubbornly clings onto) too. :)
