no to norton and mcafee! both are resource hogs imho.

best is nod32 combined with malwarebytes anti malware

hello there... just want to ask question..im not a techy person kasi eh..and since someone gave me a laptop, so i need to learn a lot na rin para magamit ko ng maayos yun laptop ko.

my question is, are those anti virus free or you need to buy it pa?? a friend told me kasi na free daw un at idodownload lang daw sa pc or laptop while some say naman na bibilhin daw yun anti virus na yun..di ko na tuloy alam kung what gagawin ko..pls help..

there are AV which are free and some which have to be spurchased. it doesn't mean that paid AV's perform better.

according to the cleaning test we performed, Spybot beats Symantec and Trend Micro. fyi, Spybot is free!

punta ka sa download.com and search for some AV na free.

ano da best na removal/detection/prevention of trojan especially trojan dropper? I tried already spybot, super antispyware, malwarebytes, Advance systemcare and ad-aware to name a few.

Hi mga sis! pahelp naman po...hindi ko kasi alam kung ano yung magandang AV, Spyware at Malware na gamitin ngayong 2010...my suggestion ba kayo? nagback read ako ang common na ginagamit is Kaspersky, NOD32, AVG and AVAST...ano ba maganda dito? at meron ba kayong masuggest na spyware/malware? Thanks!!!

Try Kaspersky Internet Security. Meron ng anti malware yan. Unfortunately, hindi sya free. Based on different reviews, laging nasa top 3 ang (in no particular order) Bitdefender, Kaspersky, ESET Nod32.

1 year license ng kaspersky more than 1k, good for 3 computers. Bitdefender mas mura pero di ko pa natry.
