^Sis punta ka sa Reports & Data Files, nandoon ang mga nadetect na virus, pwede mo idelete lahat ng yun.  Pwede rin restore..

Sa experience ko, mas nakakabagal ang NOD32 & Norton, or mas sanay na ako sa Kaspersky.  Kasi dibah every startup ng PC, kung nakaenable yung protection mo, may startup scan siya. Pwede mo rin palitan yung dun sa settings mo, iuncheck mo lang yung ayaw mong details..

what i like with kaspersky is the option to "scan only new and changed files", meaning faster scanning when making an on-demand scan.

also, signature/virus definition - wise, kaspersky is on-top. with the latest version, kaspersky also has in integrated hips protection.

I am using SuperAntiSpyware, but it is poor in blocking malware installation. No protection against commercial keyloggers.

Am looking for a good anti-virus, anti-spyware, and anti-malware.

BTW, has anyone here experienced slow keyboards or sometimes totally malfunctioning talaga? Sabi ng Acer virus daw.

^not necessarily. though meron talagang malware na nagdi-disable or naglalagay ng restrictions sa input devices like keyboards and mice.

if your keyboard works outside of windows(such as the BIOS or windows recovery console environment), it means that your keyboard is mechanically-sound. kung sa pagkapasok lang ng desktop hindi gumagana si keyboard, pwedeng driver issue or configuration issue, or worse, virus nga talaga. try booting to safe mode and check if your keyboard works in that environment.

^^ Thanks sis. I'm not sure if I've tried it in a Windows recovery environment, but you know when you haven't shut the laptop off ng maayos tas may blue screen that prompts a system scan and to skip it, ppress dapat yung keyboard? The keyboard won't work.
I noticed also, when the keyboard won't work, I run the anti-spyware, remove 4 detected adware and then it's working again. Is there something I can do to stop this vicious cycle? Thanks

malware is composed of 3 things: payload(call function), executable file, and DLL file.

payload or trigger(registry key) calls the executable file(.exe, .vbs, .bat, etc) to execute the malicious script. the DLL(dynamic link library) file links the said script to windows services/system files.

usually, automated removal tools(AV, anti-spyware, etc) removes the executable file and/or dll file. the payload or the trigger is still hidden in the registry, among several entries.  kaya nabubuhay/ nare-regenerate lang yung tinanggal na file pagka-restart ng system. that's why manual removal has to be done para matanggal silang lahat.

kasi ang pangit lang sa free software hindi masyado updated yung virus definitions and updates...
