i'm planning to buy the internet security software of kaspersky... ok ba ito? my ram is 256mb lang.

i have an AV program on my PC pero default off siya kasi nakakabagal ng PC. buti naman everytime i update this AV and scan my drive, laging clean i just make sure it is updated when i scan my drive,, ok rin yung spybot search and destroy... free pa...

so far, hindi pa naman ako nagkakavirus kahit click ako nang click sa kung san san... yun nga lang, nakaback up talaga lahat ng files ko on a separate HDD kaya kahit ireformat ko PC ko pag navirus, ok lang.

napaparanoid lang ako kasi i use this connection to buy stuff online with my credit card... baka may hacker na nagre-remote access... haha..

AVG pa din. norton ako dati but my brother said yung company nila avg ang trusted so ginaya namin. so from 2004 hanggang ngayon avg kami.

then naginstall na din ako ng lavasoft ad-aware anti-spyware/malware, although may avg na. para sure na hindi makakalusot ang virus and spywares.

i think yung memory mo ang bitin kaya bumabagal ang pc mo pag ngrarun ang avg. kasi nowadays 512mb na ang minimum ram ng mga pc. upgrade ka para bumilis ang pc mo.

^hindi sis. yun naka off yun. yung gusto ko sana eh wala sya dun sa taskbar. kasi sabi ni hubby nagana daw yun pag ganun.

^mag selective start up ka na lang pag feeling mo slow na pc mo para madis able mo na un mga running application na hindi naman kailangan

Sis lovingsue, gusto mong maalis yung AVG icon dun sa lower right corner? Right click mo siya tapos select QUIT AVG FREE CONTROL CENTER.  Kaya lang sis pag may nabuksan kang files or napuntahang sites na may virus, hindi niya agad automatically madedetect pag nakaoff...

hanggat maaari, don't install panda... it will screw up your system, when you uninstall panda antivirus, nasa system pa din sya and babagal ang computer ninyo dramtically... hindi ko alam kung may remover sya katulad ng norton and mcafee

I use AVG Free version myself. I like it because of its low resource consumtion, so I find it really strange that others are having performance issues with AVG antivirus installed.

^there are lot ways to identify if your computer is infected, ex: ur browser is being re-direct to other website, ur computer is getting slow, ur desktop is being hi-jack, u get pop-ups.. u cant block them to spread into ur computer, what you can do even though u have security software installed, always check your C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder, choose Detail so u can see the latest dates of DLL files entry and double click on 'Date Modified', that way u will see DLL and EXE file, u can search it on the web, if it's unknown or trojan, virus or worm, then delete it. Always check your BHO's registry entry. Un lang ginagawa ko sa house, same thing na ginagawa ko sa customer ko sa work, they have updated AV pero nai-infect pa den, ako, no other security software i always make my computer clean =)

Okey ba talaga ang Kaspersky? I have been hearing good review regarding this software. Malapit na kasing mag-expire itong Norton sa PC ko and I would like to get a decent AV.

question lang, my antivirus software is AVG. tapos during the scanning, may isang item under Result/Infection, nakasulat "Change". after the scan, doon sa summary, 0 ang nakasulat sa mga virus. so the way I understand it, yun "Change" na yun ay hindi virus, tama ba? So ano meaning nun?
