sis ertang was your fiance denied ba? I will be applying na next week sa french embassy for July travel date naman. Kinabahan tuloy ako kase wala akong work though I'm planning to take grad school kaso wala pako maipakitang docs that I'm a student since I'll be having the entrance examination palang by end ng june. Thanks sis 

hindi siya pinainterview e..kasi too early pa daw, October kasi yung travel namin..pero baka this end of June tratry na lang niya ulit..sayang lang nga yung pila niya e..balitaan mo ako how it goes..thanks! may date ka na for interview?

^wala pa akong schedule kase hinihintay ko pa yung letter from my mom who is based in London na cia ang magfi-finance ng trip ko. Pero lahat ng docs ko ready na. Any idea how long bago mo malaman if approved at makuha yung visa? Mukhang mapapaaga ang flight ko eh kase magmamahal na daw ang flights by July since vacation daw nun sa europe. Thanks

hi! my fiance tried to call the France Embassy and we are planning to leave sa Oct 3 kaso sabi around August pa daw magpaappointment..ang hirap kasi magplan if hindi pa sya sure na maapprove sya or not..
so i'm planning to have an interview
if sa Italian Embassy sya magapply masmabilis ba? thanks!

Applied kami this year sa Italian embassy and approved naman.  ang rule is based on your travel itinerary, your place of application will depend on which country you are staying the longest.  sa case namin it was italy, kaya sa italian embassy kami.  no appearance ang italian embassy.  i called and the call center for the italian embassy asked when we are leaving.  then they sched picked up parang 3 weeks before we fly out.  processing time nila is min 10 working day.    almost same requirement with the US visa.  Difference lang is kailangan ng Travel Insurance, Itinerary and if possible e-ticket.  Dapat your itinerary and e-ticket should show that you are going to italy.  This is on top of the bank statement, certificate of employment etc.  We added affidavit of support for the kids and we included all NSO copy of birth cert, marriage cert.  Timing is pretty bad kasi we're booking promo tickets para mura and at some point we took the risk of paying ahead maski la pa the visa.  Good thing everything fell into place.  If you're travelling to other places like UK, they will tell you to get your visa first from the UK before going back to them.   Hope this helps.

wow congrats! question lang..when ba ang travel date ninyo? and when kayo tumawag and nagpaappoint? kc so far sa france embassy, august pa daw pwepwede if Oct yung travel date namin..actually nagrisk na rin ako ngayon sa Cathay pacific ng ticket namin..

masmatagal kami sa Italy compared sa other countries..so hoping to get your advice din ano pa yung mga ibang pinass mo..thanks!

Sis Ertang, yun tita ko sa French embassy siya kumuha.  halos sabay lang lumabas yun visa.  she had to pay more for service fee.  i think yun rule ng embassy whether French or Italian is uunahin nila processing of those who has confirmed flight dates.  If you're staying the longest in Italy, then tama yan.  I suggest mag pabook ka na ng appointment for the august pickup.  the call center agent will tell you what other things need to be done such as how the what to write on the evelope, how to prepare payment and you need to make a packing list and certificate stating that you agree that you can be denied the visa if your docs are incomplete etc. If you have an existing US visa, mas malaki yun chance of approval i heard.  Good luck

guys question.. anung nilagay nio sa cover letter? sabe kase sa requirements eh pati places to be visited. so dapat ba day 1 then list ng mga pupuntahan, day 2 another list, day 3 and so on??? thanks

The French embassy does not issue Schengen visas in the last 3 months of any UK visas. If you only have less than 3 months left on your UK visa, you can not apply for a Schengen visa.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. Example you have a 6mos UK visa from May to November, if its already September you will no longer be issued a Schengen Visa. Dapat ba 4mos prior sa expiration ng UK Visa mu ikaw mag apply ng Schengen Visa? Tama ba?

Yup, mukhang your understanding is correct.  Best to check with the French embassy.  For the Italian Embassy there have a standard cover letter that you must follow.  The call center agent will tell you what to write when you set your appointment.   Pero totoo na you much have an itinerary which include countries you will visit.  this will be their basis for processing your visa or not.  if they noted that you're staying in France 3 days but you will be staying in Italy for 14 days, they will tell you to get your visa from the Italian embassy.  hope this helps

^ ah ok ganun pala. I'm trying to write the letter na kase eh. Since hindi pa ako makapag set ng appointment kase wala pa yung letter ni mudra for her sponsorship, I guess saka nlng ako tatawag hehe.
Nawindang ako reg the UK Visa. Bigla ako kinabahan kase I have an active UK visa bka hindi ako maissue-han ng Schengen visa. Buti nlng tama intindi ko hehe

another question..if nakalagay don sa confirmed booking ko ng ticket is oct 6-28..but nagchange ako ng ticket if ever naapprove to oct 3-28 ok [textspeak!] ba yun? kasi ilalagay ko naman sa visa ko na request ko is 30days? hope someone could help sorry sa daming tanong ty!

I think ok lang yun sis! But be sure na yung travel insurance mu would cover yung earlier date ng departure mu. Kase saken napansin ko yung travel insurance ko would start sa day ng departure ko na nakalagay sa iti ko. So i think hindi ako pwede umalis earlier than what is stated in my iti pero I could leave later since 30days naman ang covered ng insurance. yung iti naman kase pwede magchange yun.

Standard processing time of the italian embassy if min 14 working days.  You can to tell the call center agent that you need the passport kasi you will be flying out.  most likely they will tell you to resched when you come back.  italian embassy is no appearance.  pick up lang tapos they will assess based on your submitted docs.

Ang nagfifill out at nagpa-sign for us nung form na yun is our assistant in Sweden. We apply online and attached the Offer of Employment form and passport then that's it wait lang ng email then pass the passport sa consulate then wait ulit ng tawag for pick up ng passport. A form should be coming from your employer. Meron ba ba sila binigay na documents to you from your employer?

Work permit or business trip with Schengen is easy compared to applying personal travel to Europe. I don't think kailangan ng medical from the visa application pa lang baka you will need that lang once you are already arrived in Greece.

Naalala ko dati sa isang embassy If you did pa interview sa isang embassy but you cant leave your passport kasi gagamitin mo for travelling, you can ask them naman na kung pwede ibalik mo nalang yung passport later after your trip. papayag naman yun. =) lalo na kung papakita mo yung flight sched mo. mas okay yun. =)
