Schengen Visa Application

Mga sis, I want to apply for a Shengen Visa because I want to go to Paris, Madrid, and Rome hopefully May of 2008. E sabi sa website I need airline and hotel reservations, paano yun? I'll definitely be booking online before I travel, does this mean that I'd have to book before I apply for the Visa? E paano pag nadecline ang Visa, e most hotels e hindi yata pwede i-cancel?

^Pwedeng i-cancel ang hotel sis. Requirement talaga nila yun. You need to bring hotel and plane booking when you appear for the interview.

Jacqueline, regarding airline ticket reservation, get in touch with your travel agent kung baga formality lang yon di dapat bayaran kaagad. About hotels you can also make reservations thru the net then print the confirmation e-mail, kahit di pa paid yun you will receive an email from the travel agent or hotel. The embassies are advising applicants  not to pay for anything in advance, para nga naman maiwasan ang kawalan ng pera in case di ma grant yung visa.

You dont have to pay for the plane ticket to have a confirmed booking. Just book through a travel agent.

eurotrip? depende sa dami ng bansa na pupuntahan mo. at least mag-allot ka ng P250000 para sa airfare, accommodation and food.baka pag 4-7 countries ay P300000-400000.

update ko lang po kayo, i got my schengen visa this morning and am flying to Europe this 30th of May. Am travelling alone, kakatakot pero exciting for me.

It's easy to apply Schengen visa from the French Embassy, or in any embassy just as long as you have the complete requirements.

I'll be arriving at the Airport at 6:45 pm on May 31, Thurs. Sa Belfort hotel ako stay for two days. Then i'll be hoping to Paris. Hope we could meet there sis Maribeth. Btw, how much estimated taxi fare from airport to Belfort hotel?

^^sis, hindi ako nagta-ataxi dito eh kasi I find it expensive, so I have no idea how much will it cost. Pero I would say that it's not more than 100 euro's. di ba when applying, you need to show how much money you have in your bank account? sa tingin nyo gano ba dapat kalaki yung money sa bank account for them to be sure na hindi ako magt-tnt dun? honeymoon kasi yung plan naming trip and fiance ko magfifinance ng trip. natatakot lang ako na baka konti lang yung maipakita ko sa kanila. although i have a US visa naman...do you think it's enough?
