If someone not familiar with your Wii inadvertently updates your Wii's firmware, then the hacks done will be undone. For non-techies, I suggest going the hard-mod way rather than the soft-mod route. US version is still the best for non-techies.

just found out about data blitz nga, no more need to pabili games from the us, theirs are so cheap!

i have a question, is there a way to backup orig games for non-modded wii?  kasi napansin ko, the console itself is scratching our games... baka there's a way to copy it?

I'm planning to buy Wii US version (mas ok daw US version sa mga non-techies) I checked the net when buying wii. Ang sabi ang basic na stuff na kasama sa package are: wii remote controller, one nunchuk controller, sensor bar, wii sports cd (ilan games ito?), and yun rectangle shaped stuff (which i call the cpu)

Questions:
1) same basic stuff ba ang kasama if I buy wii sa pinas?
2) What's the difference ng wii motion plus and regular wii remote controller?
3) Original cd games lang ba pwede ma-play sa wii?

Been a long long time since I last posted. Anyway hope you guys cab help me out.
Am planning to by wii at datablitz mod us version for 12500, additional wiimote and non chuck goes for an additional 795 and 1595. 110 v. Is this a good buy? 110v ba talaga lahat ng available here in the Phil? So we need to buy a transformer?

nung bumili ako wii sa states. sa sobrang excitement ko magamit ng kids sinaksak ko nawala sa isip ko 110 nga pala. so i bought an adapter sa sm . 750 yata tapos [textspeak!] karpintero namin sinubukan ipagawa sa kakilala nya repairman nagawa . i only paid 120 may pinalitan lang yatang fuse

Bought na my black wii Us version couple weeks ago and package cya sa greenhills 15k converted na with 130 preloaded games, all the games are new and the classic ones too. Then i bought an extra wii motion remote in pink color and an extra nunchuck. I love my wii!
