The difference between the Wiimote and the Nunchuk? Well, most of the directional controls will be on the Nunchuck while the triggering of weapons are on the Wiimote. If you'll only use the Wiimote on a game, it means you'll only use it to make you move your item/weapon but not your character. Hope I'm making sense here, you're the first one to ask that.

Having more than a set of Wiimote/Nunchuk is better since you have the option to play against each other on Wii Sports or any other games you puchased.

I just want to reiterate once more that buying from mall-based stores is a BIG NO-NO! Here's an example. Last Sunday, I bought a new Wii game from Data Blitz for Php2195 and when I went to Toy Kingdom, I saw them selling the same game for Php3999.75. Like, what the heck, right? Only buy from Data Blitz (no, I'm not the owner nor a stockholder, just a satisfied customer). They're in every mall around Metro Manila. And even if they don't have the item on their store, they can get from another branch. It's that convenient. Caveat emptor.

Anyway, enjoy your new games. I suggest Guitar Hero World Tour or Rock Band 2 for anyone in your family who's musically-inclined. Also, you can try your stuff on Ghostbusters: The Video Game. Lastly, if you're into those board/party games, you can also get Mario Party 9.

Been checking out the different websites on how to mod a Wiimote. Mostly for the Ghostbusters game I got. Just want to have that feel of actually pointing the Wiimote with both hands just like the Neutrona Wand of a Proton Pack.

Been scouting around for those Sports Packs so I could butcher them into something I want but time will tell if I find the right pieces around Metro Manila.

how about guitar hero or rock band, does data blitz sell them too? san may pinakamura nito?

^^ Yup, I even got my Guitar Hero: World Tour Complete Band Kit from Data Blitz and they're still selling it til now. I believe it's around Php12K. Even the same for the complete set of Rock Band 2. That's the cheapest I could find these days. Besides, when I bought GH: World Tour last December, they were priced at Php15K so it's a big change in last 6-7 months.

my family just bought a Wii Korean version soft mod with free 320gb Hard Disk (with 100 games).....

Kaya lang minsan nagha-hang sya? normal lang ba un? kasi yung sa pinsan ko US mod sa kanya and she never experienced hanging..

Di kaya dahil sa Hard Disk kaya nagha-hang kasi sobrang dami ng games?

I'm still settled on my Guitar Hero 5. I got my extra 8GB memory and 2000 Nintendo Points to help the transfer of songs from Guitar Hero World Tour AND Guitar Hero Smash Hits, having a total of 155 songs on GH5 now. Have to buy more Nintendo Points to acquire more songs.

^ I think that's the Platinum edition.  Mine came with the standard kit.

I still have to get myself an SD card too.. Got 2k wii points and bought songs from the Rockband music store.  Played online all weekend geez my arms hurt from playing the drums!  Ordered drum pad silencers too I hope it works well so I can play harder just the way I like it.

Hanging games which are loaded via USB Loaders are due to the HDD going into sleep mode. Disable your external HDD's sleep mode and your games won't hang anymore.

I am planning to get a Wii because I got so sold on the game "just dance".  Please suggest where to buy a Wii and what are the other things to buy with it.  Is it cheaper in Hong Kong?  The last game console I ever bought the the first playstation and it had everything with it.  With the wii i am confused with the remotes alone.  Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

We just recieved a Nintendo Wii from the States. Being an ignorant female, I didn't know the difference between a 110V and 220V. I also didn't know that in the states they use 110V instead of 220V. So I plugged in the Nintendo Wii and the adapter exploded. So I need to find a 220V adapter. Where can I find that? Thanks!

i have a question, is there a way to backup orig games for non-modded wii?  kasi napansin ko, the console itself is scratching our games... baka there's a way to copy it?
