From day 1 sis, how long it took your papers to processed?

^ My application was lodged at the embassy Januray 2006. Tapos the acknwoledgement receipt from the embassy was dated May 11,2006. This letter will indicate the file number of your application, meaning, na OFFICIAL na ang application mo. And then, December 29,2006 ang date ng letter instructing me to take the speak test. I took the test March 1,2007. Delayed ko kasi natanggap yung letter. March 9, 2007 date ng letter telling me na i passed the test. Instruct na ako to undergo medicals, submit passport, updated NBI clearance at saka yung additional form para sa employer at T4. Yung NBI, passport at medical lang ang inasikaso ko. Yung T4 at employer from, cousin ko na ang nagpadala direct sa embassy dito sa manila from canada. Ikaw na lang compute how long it took ha...

Ok sis,will inquire from St. Augustine. I saw the schools recommended by TESDA which is specifically tailored for Canada caregivers. Worry ko lang is parang di pa sila established. I would prefer nga na sa reputable school naman ok din hopefully [textspeak!] mga nagtuturo.

Established na sila mga sis..if you ask people who work at Canadian embassy if kilala nila ang [textspeak!]-CANADIAN..they will say "YES". It is were I attended my caregiving course pero sa Urdaneta Branch in Pangasinan.

I am not sure kung saan sis kasi sa Urdaneta (Pangasinan) Branch ako nag-training. Main branch is at Guadalupe where I had my final briefing before I had my interview.

mine nman, i lodged my application august 2006.  then, yung speak test ko was scheduled march 2007. then after a week i received another letter na i passed nga the speak test and instructed me to undergo a medical exam.  i undergone a medical march 2007 din.

todate, we're working on the T4 of my employer.  after nila ma send sa embassy, i will just wait na for another letter or whatever kung ano na magiging status ng application ko.

^ you submitted your passport na din together with your NBI clearance?

when i lodged my application, nag submit nko ng nbi clearance and a photocopy of my passport.  nsa akin ang orig passport ko.

sis, ano ba ang next step na i re require ng canadian embassy? 
todate, mag p fax p lang ng T4 at nung form yung employer ko.

^ ako kasi, 4 things na ang ni-require sa akin ng embassy dun sa huling letter na natanggap ko.

1. proof of financial capacity (t4,paystubs) ng employer ko.

2. additional form (ito naka-enclose dun sa padala nila na letter sa akin, kelangan ito sagutan ng employer ko at i-fax directly sa embassy)

3. NBI clearance (updated)

4. Original passport

Yung 1-4, kelangan ko daw ma-accomplish within 60days.

tapos may separate letter instructing me to go through the medical tests na. so 2 letter ang natanggap ko sa isang envelope. yung medical tests naman, i need to accomplish in 30 days. tapos wag daw ako mag follow-up until after 45 days.

so aside from the medicals, i submitted na din yung no. 3 and 4. (passport, nbi)

hi sis, that's the same letter i received.  pero yung 4 items, naka-check lang yung 1, 2 & 4.  right now, yan ang wi no work out ko ngayon.  tapos nko sa medical.  i will be sending them din my orig passport next week. yung 1 & 2, we're still working on that.
