anyways, nakausap ko na yung traning center where i went to for caregiver.

anyone here who recently received their visa? i'm waiting for mine na kasi. i just want to have idea how long it takes for the embassy to process them now...

hello lauren,my neeeighbor ako [textspeak!] bale 3 mos mulaa nung nakapasa cya sa medical wala pa din up 2 now.medya matagal yata talaga e,ako nga very unlucky kc sabi nila wala na daw speaktest interview na ulit sa consul e.kaw ba speaktest o personal interview?would u mine giving me ur e mail address?skin isang letter pa [textspeak!] dumadating tapos almost 2 months na wala pa din dumadating instructing me to yake the interview.totoo0 kaya na wala na talaga speaktest?nagreview ka ba b4 ka nagspeaktest?dami ko tanong....lol

hello,my neighbor got her visa 2day,it took her 97 days after she passes the medical.she took the speaktest also like you [textspeak!]?sana nakatulong info ko.

hay naku, finally i was able to set a schedule na for the orientation at IOM.  i went there (personally at their office), they gave me a schedule 3 days after.  ganun lang pala kabilis.

last week of april nag submit ng medical result sa embassy.
siguro, july or august p darating ang visa. =)

naku, almost the same timeline pala ang application natin in terms of the medicals etc., mine was submitted April 25th :-)

hubby is canadian and we're (my baby and I) on our process of working our visa to finally settle there. i'm planning to take caregiving course to widen my job prospects when we get to canada.

this is such a blessing 

it took 42 days from the time Nationwide Clinic forwarded my medical results to the embassy last April 25  so for those of you whose medicals were submitted at about the same date, lapit na ang sa inyo. make sure someone's always at home to receive the visa. courier fee is 160pesos...

happiness!!!

after informing my family and fiance, the next thing i knew i needed to do was update here at GT, i know how news like this would make our sisses and bro here happy and even more hopeful about their own applications. i am bound for Toronto in Ontario. :-)

good pm mga sis! makikibalita lang o sana ako sa processing ng application ng live in caregiver for quebec.  After finally completing my documents, na submit ko na yung application ko sa embassy last december 2006.  march 16 nung dumating ang receipt ko from them.  yun na yung last update ng application ko.

baka naman meron dyan papuntang quebec, pashare naman ng experience nyo sa application. thanks.

may interview pa ba? ganu ba talaga katagal ang dapat intayin ngayon.

for caregivers who has working visa already or who's already here in canada, they say that u have to stay for about 2 years for u to apply as immigrant right? is it that easy? i have a fiancee in the phils..what if i want to bring him here and we both apply as immigrant? should i go back to the phils and get married first then come back here with him? hows it done? u hav any idea?

what you can do is come home, get married before your 2 year requirement for the permanent residence application is over and then as soon as you get back, update mo ang embassy that you changed your status and would include your now husband in your records. As soon as you finish your 2 year requirement, when you apply for your immigrant status, kasama mo na si hubby sa application as your legal spouse. you will then get your immigrant visas at the same time.  ganun ang gagawin namin ng fiance ko eh!

i'm an IT grad.. but im planning to take caregiver kahit 6 months.. just a stepping stone for better career abroad, target ko kase puntahan is Canada, since i have relatives their who are already canadian citizens, and my sister who is already an immigrant... tama ba ang desisyon ko mga sis?
